The Eternal Feud

So it is time for the general VuTales population to finally chose: Vampires or Werewolves.

I am basing my knowledge of Vampires & Werewolves off of the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer and Underworld.

Werewolves / Lycanthropes

Werewolf as portrayed in Underworld

Humans with the ability to shape-shift into wolf-like creatures. They are given this "gift" by either being bitten/scratched by another Werewolf, or by being placed under a curse. Transformation is usually activated because of the full moon, but more and more stories and movies are portraying them as being able to transform at will.

Werewolves are given extra-human senses, strength, and size. They grow fur all over their body, and begin to feel a change as they become monstrous.

Werewolves have the look of a normal day-by-day pedestrian. Most have brown hair, and it is usually short(er), shaggy, and messy. They have about the same agility as vampires, but are not as perfect looking.

Vampires

Vampires as portrayed in Twilight

Humans who exist by feeding on the blood of living animals, humans, and other beings. They are given this "gift" by being bitten by another vampire, but not fully being consumed by them. When the poison of another Vampires teeth falls into the blood of another human, they are changed into a vampire. Many people, books, and movies show that vampires can shape-shift (as werewolves do) at will into bats. More and more stories and movies are portraying vampires to be just humans, with no special shape-shifting abilities to speak of.

Vampires are given superhuman sight, smell, strength, durability, hearing, and dexteritiy. They do not change when they need to call upon these powers, but have them when they appear as humans, unlike werewolves who must shape-shift.

Vampires have the look of a "god" or "goddess". They are portrayed as perfect-skinned, beautiful, and stunning. Some moves and books (Twilight) have gone as far as showing them as glistening in the sunlight. They are much more perfect looking than any other person, and move with the greatest agility.

My Opinion

Well, I have always been for Werewolves. They are my favorite by far.

My friends and family all say that if there were actual werewolves and vampires, I would be a werewolf. My personality, looks, and just overall I am a werewolf rather than a vampire, thus I like them much better.

Your Opinion

Well, what is your opinion? Do you like vampires better than werewolves? Werewolves better than vampires?

Do you agree/disagree with some of my points and information? Tell me everything 🙂

Thanks for reading,

Werewolves ftw.
Why? Because I read twilight. Nuff said.

This is how it truly is:

Men who have been bitten by a werewolf have been presented with a curse flowing through their bloodstream. When the light of a full moon shines upon them, they will lose control over their human instincts and become a mixture of man and wolf, with the wolf part dominating. Werewolves are powerful and chaotic, but not evil. It’s the curse that makes them like that: The animal instinct of the hunt is what drives them to kill.

Vampires, on the other hand, are not as they are portrayed by Twilight. Vampires are similar to zombies and are undead: They have died, and have been brought back to life. A monster that is already rotting, is afraid of garlic, will die from a stake to the chest and needs to feed on blood to survive is NOT a super-human. Vampires are in fact very weak. Vampires in Twilight are like the Flood in Halo 1: They take a sh*tload of time to kill and are really powerful. But how they actually are (by the original history and such) are more like the Flood in Halo 3. They made the Flood more realistic in Halo 3:

EFFING ROTTING CORPSES. How do you want to kill a rotting corpse? A grenade, perhaps? Maybe a few rounds with a pistol? Spamming your assault rifle? Doesn’t matter, as they’re all equally as effective.

So yes, werewolf. BTW, Stephanie Meyer’s writing is dry.

Pshawww.
Werewolf blood has no nutritional value!
Besides, Werewolves kill rather than simply suck blood.
Vampires suck…

I fucking hate Twilight. My girlfriend read it and the first thing she told me was “You should be more like Edward.”
To reply, I just said “Fuck that.” >.<

Twilight sucks.

TL;DR.

No, not really, but Twilight is a retardedly bad example to use.

(Instead of vampires or werewolves, I’d be a gunslinger from the Dark Tower series. Now THAT is a good book! Not the romantic Mary-Sue fluff shit.)
