And so it begins. My first fan fiction.

Based off the popular 2D side-scrolling MMORPG, MapleStory, it is set & loosely based in the same timeline as the Chaos patch. It is the side story of the main plot in MapleStory.

~Summary~

The second Maple wars. After the Big Bang event that shook the Maple world in the Black Magician’s wake, the Alliance have been fighting the awakened evil and his Dark Wings minions. It has been 5 months since the war began, but the alliance is starting to break apart. Trust betrayed, feuds amongst Maplers and factions who began fighting amongst themselves for their own personal glory. All caused by the insanity of the Black Magician’s power within the hearts of the people.

Thus, the start of the Age of Chaos.

The new wave of darkness hit the world, causing an unpredecented event that both sides did not see. Shattered pieces of space appeared out of nowhere, bringing forth hordes of dark monsters that left nothing but destruction and death in their path. Villages around the cities started to disappear one by one. This new threat became known as the Dark Shattered.

As the world plunged into further insanity, a young boy chanced upon an unnatural phenomenon. What key does it hold to resolve the chaos of the world? What is the fate of the Two that entwined in this fateful meeting? The first chapter to the Eterna Circle Chronicles, the beginning of a new change is about to begin!
