Long for a Frag, Short of a Blog

Hey, folks! It’s probably not been a while, but as current events continue to sweep me off my feet (now if I can only do that to a girl), two weeks back seems like an eternity.

Recently, I’ve been playing a game that is probably unexpected of me: Puzzle Pirates.

You’re probably not thinking: WTF? I’ve always been a Halo freak, an FPS person, occasional MMORPG fan, evident by my Runescape account and the obvious fact that I am here (hint: Maplestory). This game is technically an MMORPG, but in comparison is probably more laid back than the other games I’ve listed. For sake, it’s a game filled with puzzles! No hacking and slashing, no fire bolts and thunderbolts, no spartan lasers and LMGs. Just simple fill-in-the-blanks, three-in-a-row, break-down-the-blocks puzzles.

Why am I back into this game (which, by the way, I had played a while back)? I don’t know really. It’s probably my ravenous hunger for poker that borderlines addiction (it’s more well-controlled now). It could be that I’m having those fits where I’m interested in the puzzling game again. Or it could be that the Three Rings had merged with Steam so a new stream of newbies are coming in, and I’m there to fail to exploit the new population while I fail to can.

I actually want to get a little more in-depth than this, but life beckons. How annoying. Such is life, is it not?

When I say carpentry, everyone runs for the hills. It pays to be good at it.
