Anyways, let us begin at the beginning. There was this girl, for blog's sake let's call her Shenuiqa. Shenuiqa was a lovely short white girl of about 130 lbs. She was probably the cutest thing I've ever seen. Freckles, brown hair, busty. So, I decided to pursue Shenuiqa. Being fooled by her girlish looks I assumed she was oh-so-innocent and exactly my type! I love an innocent woman. Who doesn't, right? ANYWAY! After forming a relationship with this girl, I decided to ask her out. (2 or 3 weeks ago) SUCCESS!
Okay, so, we were happy. Until I found out she had a drinking problem. That's right. Cute little Shenuiqa had a drinking problem. My grandfather was intoxicated when all of that happened. Now, I confronted her about this. I told her why I didn't like drinking and I asked her to please be careful and told her I was worried about her drinking so much. She said she would be careful and cut back. That was totally fine with me, until one day when I received this text message:
Her: Hey, I'm going to a party tonight.
Me: Alright, babe. Be careful.
Her: I will be. Are you worried?
Me: Yeah, just a little but don't worry about it. I'll be fine.
Her: Why shouldn't I worry about it? You deserve to be happy.
Me: I'm happy if you're happy. Nothing else matters.
Her: You need to stop doing that. The way you feel does matter.
Me: No, it doesn't. I'm always going to worry about something. I'm just trying to be the guy you deserve. Well, as close as I can get to the guy you deserve.
Her: Stop being so nice!
Me: Heh, no.
Her: Well, Dustin I don't think we should be together.
Me: What? Why?
Her: I want you to be happy and I don't think I deserve someone as nice and understanding as you…
Me: You're not honestly breaking up with me over something so stupid, are you?
Her: Well, you make me feel like shit for being me. You always say you aren't happy but as long as I am it doesn't matter. I feel like I'm depriving you of your happiness or something.
Me: I am happy. I might not be happy with that stuff but I'm trying my hardest to not care.
Her: Well, I just don't think it's going to work out.
Dumped for being understanding and nice. What the fuck is that? I mean, I never said I was unhappy. I just said the way I feel doesn't matter. God, women are so dependent. They need to be bossed around and told what to do. Fuck. If only I had ordered she stop drinking to make me happy. Oh wait, then I'm changing her. I honestly don't know what's going on. Some women are stupid.

There comes a time when you need to figure out what kind of woman she is. And there are LOTS of what kinds, but this is a specific one.
There are times to need to turn on the control (dates, issues that need to be talked about, starting a conversation) and things where you sit back and let her do her thing (her going out without you [even with guy friends, if it turns out bad then you’re better off anyways], her and her family [never diss her family], her wanting certain things [gifts, sex, drinks, smokes]).
There are dependent women and independent woman, but both kinds have things they need controlled and things they need free. Take your younger years as a learning experience; never take any relationship too seriously and make some serious mental notes. Read body language (yes, even in texts [lol english joke]). Understand what lines to feed and what lines to hold back. Grow.

It’s rare that anyone even sees me mad, in general, really. It’s not that I’ve given up, it’s just that I know that there’s no reason to get angry. I will get pissed for the right reasons though.. things like complacency, laziness, and other stupid things that people my age do.
But I digress. I won’t give you the whole “wait for the right girl” bullshit, because unless you take initiative, there’s a good chance that you won’t find anyone.
As for Pir’s statement about not taking anything too seriously, I disagree. I think experience is over-rated. although you’re still pretty young to think about marriage, if your bond with that girl is so strong that you want it to last that long, I say go for it. More experience just means more chance to become jaded about the opposite sex.
IMO, either way would be bad. It’s about whether you can work through it together. Your position is between a rock and a hard place.
