i went to danshui

By In Uncategorized

my trip to Danshui was hard to explain how fun it is. it's not so much playing around fun, but it was enjoyable

seeing that ive been isolated in my very home for straight 5 days doing nothing but SAT reviews and math tutor hw, i HAD to do something.

so this was my schedule for yesterday and today…

Friday.
11:00 am – DANCE
2:00 pm – ponder in agony (i'll tell you about this)
3:30 pm – math class
5:40 pm – slack off and play PLANTS VS ZOMBIES
7:00 pm – go to friends house and go clubbing until 3:00 am

Saturday.
8:20 am – wake up from partying too hard
9:30 am – get home and get ready for DANSHUI trip
9:40 am – sleep more
12:00 pm – wake the fuck up and get my ass to the metro train station
3:00 pm – meet up with friends
blah blah blah

so about my visual agony. i was dancing with my friend, who's a breaker. i met him through other dancers outside of school and i asked him if he wants to dance with me at my school. he's like ok. so friday morning, we danced. we danced our ass off, seriously. i sweat a pool every 2 minutes. it was like my most productive session that i had ever had since summer. because whenever i go "dance" i dont go 100%. thats why im like lazy. but because there is no song choice conflict. (poppers dance to popping music, lockers dance to locking music, breakers dance to breaking music) we both decided to work on our foundations which did not really concern the choice of songs, so we just danced to any songs that comes to play.

at around 2 pm. we were both tired and jammed. he wanted to teach me backflip because he thinks im really good at locking. seeing him that he had NEVER EVER failed a backflip, i was like sure. he's done them alot of times so i trust him. we went to the gymnastics room and he explained to me some physics to backflips. however there was a kindergarten summer school program class coming so we had to leave. we asked if we could borrow the cushions and we'll take it to somewhere else to practice. he really liked the soft floor of the gymnastics room so he wanted to do one last backflip before going to the other room and teaching me.

however.

when he did the backflip, he did not land correctly. i think because he was too used to doing backflips on hard concrete floor, the soft floor messed up his feel of landing. his left elbow bent outwards. and broke his arm. now. i saw his arm bend the other way and i also heard the crack. that freaked the shit out of me. he was yelling in pain and i was yelling in disgust. i hurried and assisted him to the school gate and he called his parents (with his right hand) and sent him immediately to the hospital. good thing his parents are doctors…

instead of the visual and audio disturbance. his injury really makes me feel like crap. because it always seems that people who works the most diligent in dance get hurt. i have a korean friend, whos a popper, injured his knee. he was on crutches. he was the most hardworking korean i had ever met. his GPA is like 4.1, not kidding.

i feel so helpless when people get hurt. but still, that motivates me to work harder on dance to show what i can do and what i can express.

ok i dont really want to talk about danshui because it was just walking around his really dirty bay. if you see those commercials that tell you how beautiful taiwan is, i can tell you those actual beautiful places are up the mountain, not the cities of taiwan. seriously, it smells like shit. the water's like, brown. but i got to go outside so it was cool. it was really hot today btw

OUCH. I know how you feel– helpless. It sucks to see someone get hurt, because you can’t do anything about it.
And is that like, your girlfriend or something?

I couldn’t get past the first sentence. INEFFABLE = HARD TO EXPRESS/EXPLAIN. DON’T BE REDUNDANT. That is all.

Maybe it’s like saying “aesthetically pleasing.”

I’m doubting the sincerity of your apology as you failed to fix the mistake. I’m hurt. *tear*

Btw. I forgot to mention this before; you shouldn’t be so surprised that people who work hard at dancing are screwed up the most. You’re screwing up your body more, lawlz. Especially if you’re doing stuff like backflips.

That isn’t screwing up. Training to do maneuvers like backflips and somersaults is exploring what your body is capable of doing. Hard work is reveals your physical potentials but then there’s always the risk of getting hurt so weak people should avoid doing it F3
