Responsibility

Something that is constantly reminded by our parents and teachers. Everybody has their degree of responsibility in life, but some people are just fucking irresponsible to the point where they look for excuses or they don't even bother to take care of it.

he pisses me off in so many different ways.
there are many things i hate about him… but i want to focus on his IRRESPONSIBILITY

I am a dancer, I dance with friends. I actually spend many hours and pools of sweat on dance because I just like to dance. Dance is like my life. I don't know if you know the phrase, "Dance to express, not to impress." It's very straightforward, but if you think about it; if you dance, that means you're also impressing. Unless you're dancing in some secret underground area where only you know how to access it and nobody in the world knows that you dance at all. So in a way, I, and many others, dance to impress………

Let's start from June 2008 to now.

June2008
He paid 10,000 NT on five private lessons from one of the best poppers in Taiwan. 10,000 NT is about 303 US dollars. The class is every other weekday for two weeks. When my friend, who is a great dancer and I heard about his secret training from one of the pros; we almost shat our pants. "Omg, Fagdrag-J is gonna be pro! Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcarparpacrapcparpacp."

……..apparently not

Every time we session with a group of people on the days that he isn't in his private class, he is always sitting at the corner checking out his hair and fiddling with his cellphone. Being an encouraging friend, I said, "C'mon man, just dance. We all friends." Yet he refuses to jam. Yeah, okay, whatever. He has spent 300 US dollars on five private classes and he does not practice in between. In fact, I've never seen him practice, only seen him trying to show off
IF I WERE TO SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY ON DANCE, I WOULD PRACTICE EVERY SINGLE DAY, SERIOUSLY.

One time, after we were all done for the day, we went to go meet with some other friends at this restaurant. One of the friends asked us, "So how long have you guys danced?" I said, "Uhh.. A year and a half? Yeah, about." Fagdrag-J boldly said, "A year." Now, he may had began a year ago, but if you add THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TIME HE HAS ACTUALLY PUT INTO DANCE.. that'll probably be like one and a half weeks.

Yay! Dance production! A dance show composed of everyone who wants to be in it; no rejects either! Girls and guys have different audition choreography. I worked my ass off just to get the choreography perfectly memorized in my head. Every step, every movement, every breath. The night, when the results were sent to everyone from email, I was expecting Fagdrag-J to get a pretty low role because he messed up on the audition really bad; no style either. Never seen him practice!

I was highly confident that I would get a pretty high role, but not the main character.I mean, hell, I did SO AWESOME during auditions!

That night, I left a fist mark on my wall and got a bloody fist.

December2008

Frolic! Basically a prom.
Every year, the street dancers from each grade would perform. It's like a tradition, even the people from before I danced perform.
A couple of friends and I unanimously decided that Fagdrag-J is NOT performing with us. We're not allowing him because he ditched every single practice just to go play Halo3 at a friend's house.

He went all emotional to the girls, the girls are more sympathetic and gave him a spot in their section of the dance.
FUCK.

I'm getting off-topic. Him being a poser isn't the point of this blog.

Wow okay, all that above are basically stuff that happened before that pissed me off, but it's nothing related to the topic of responsibility.

ANYWAYS
He borrowed 1000 NT, about 30 US dollars, from me to buy this shirt. He promised to return it to me the next day. It's been two months.

We have internship in the same post at a hospital (..WHY?!). I help the people around, I change urinal tubes for old people, and I make way for the people who are physically handicapped. Most important of all, I show up on time. He just hides in the bathroom for most of the time talking on his cellphone and he always arrive an hour late.

(I know this is stupid, but..) I spent 200k on this item that I need for a quest on Mabinogi. I need to throw it into a dungeon and finish that dungeon otherwise that 200k is gone. He's like, "I can finish that dungeon no problem." First room, my stamina almost gone. Second room, almost dead. Third room, dead. Right there, 10 minutes, 200k gone. He said he has the item too, but he has to get it from his guild leader. He never goes on Mabinogi. Okay, I know it's JUST A GAME, but holy crap. HAVE SOME RESPONSIBILITY! WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!
