Mabinogi 002

By In Uncategorized

We need blogs about gaming. I'm here to provide the blogs. Especially about Mabinogi cause Nass hates it's guts and wants it dead. Commence blogging!

I will take this moment to address people of VuTales on how Mabinogi is fun and people who don't want to use strategy in a MMORPG fails hard. Especially you Nass. You fail for hating the game. lol

Rainofsorrow

In the past months, I've been wandering around Erinn and Another World in search of things to bide my time with. Currently, money is my priority. I decide to go into Albey Red Gem dungeon, as Pain has gathered too many Red Gems for me to let go to waste.

I dropped the small red gem on the Alter of the Goddess and it warps me to the dungeon. I pray to the Goddess to safeguard a Dark Knight before proceeding. I enter the first floor and proceed through a corridor. I enter a room, spotting the plain chest in sight. I head over to it and open it. Behind me, several White Spiderlings appeared.

Too easy, I suppose. I crossed the blades of my two Gladius and start to cast an Icebolt. The frozen ball of Mana floated around my body horizontally. I sent the bolt flying to a spider and it drops dead quickly. Bolt after bolt, the room was cleared and I was free to proceed. This called upon my Shire and mounted her, quickly running through the corridors into the next room.

I come upon to closed chest and kick it open. At least five Light Armored Red Skeletons spawned around me. Back stepping into the nearest corner, I cast an two icebolts and pelted the nearest Skeleton with them. It gets angry and runs up to me. I readied myself with a Counterattack. The Skeleton swings it's Hatchet at me and I knock it back, using 140% of it's power and 120% of mine. It wasn't dead quite yet, so I quickly charged up and icebolt and shot it at the same Skeleton. It runs back up to me after shaking off the frost. I had a counterattack readied, so it dropped dead.

Room after room, I tore through until I came upon the large boss room door. I opened it and faced the Nightmare Humanoid. It had a horse's head and stood on a pair of hooves. What made this creature so dangerous is that it will usually change it's resistance after it becomes knocked back.

Red means it's really resistant to melee and won't take much damage.
Blue means it's really resistant to mana and won't take much damage.
Orange means it's really resistant to ranged attacks and won't take much damage.
White means it's resistant to all attacks, so keep shooting Firebolt at it until it changes.
Black means it's vulnerable to all attacks.

I charge a Firebolt and shot it. It changes to orange, giving me an opportunity to strike. I closed my eyes and gathered all my stamina into my arms and legs. Soon, my entire body was flashing white and my hands engulfed with the power to strike my foes millions of times. I teleported up to the Fomor and swung both of my Gladiuses, dealing dangerous amounts of damage without knocking it back. It soon died shortly afterward. I sighed, collecting my treasure and leaving the dungeon.

It was just another one of those days.

I whistled, bored out of my mind. I hung around Emain Macha's Town Square in hopes of meeting someone interesting. Suddenly, a familiar figure walked up to me. It was him, Redire, the fallen Paladin who helped me become a Knight of Light. I smiled when he approached me. He handed me a book and tells me that it contains a magic that will awaken the Knight of Light's true potential. He was collecting pages for it but ended up being five pages short. I happily accepted the book and told him I will complete it.

I talk to Del and Delen, the twins that sells flowers, about the Paladin Book. They tell me that the Beggar had a page and wanted Steaks for it. Steaks? The ones that cost 3700 gold? Those Steaks? I end up buying the Beggar a Steak, but that wasn't enough. He tells me to buy him two more Steaks. I didn't have any other option, so I walked back to Loch Lios and bought two more Steaks. After he eaten his fill, he hands me the page with a smile. The nerve I tell you.

I walked to Dunbarton and talked to Stewart, the magic teacher, about the book. He tells me that he saw something that might look like a page in the Library. I headed there and searched the shelves for the page. I end up finding it between two books.

Bangor was far off, but I walked there. I talked to Comgan, the town's Priest and a young one at that, about the book. He had a page and asks me to eliminate five Imps for it. Well, it's good for everyone I suppose. I enter Barri Dungeon and hunted down five Imps with the help of my Siberian Husky. Comgan thanks me and gives me the page.

Shena in Emain Macha at Loch Lios had a page and was willing to give it to me when she realized that the restaurant needed three Rainbow Trout. 110 cm at least. I ended up spending that day fishing up clothing and small fries. Finally, I delivered all three fish to Shena and she gives me the page.

Galvin, Emain Macha's general store owner, told me that Agnes, the town healer, had a page. She tells me that a traveler had collected too many of the pages and gave some to her. She tells me that she would love to have a flower from the fields. Give and take I suppose. I head over to east of town and started to pick flowers. She thanked me and gave me the last page.

When I opened the book, it gave me a Charm of Awakening. I dropped it on Coill, where a voice of the Spirits told me that I have to face the toughest Nightmares to achieve my true power. I fought my way through many Sprites and Werewolves with my archery and melee attacks, along with my Siberian Husky. I entered the final chamber and a Nightmare Humanoid appeared, challenging me. I transform into a Paladin and began to fight it.

Several Icebolts, Firebolts and Counterattacks later I bested the Nightmare Humanoid. The Spirits told me that I have now unlocked my true potential and hope to use it to battle against the Fomors. I turn to leave, when the Nightmare Humanoid got back up and started to run to me. It swung a blow at me, but I hardly felt any damage. I countered and it dropped dead.

The true power of the Knight of Light…

I just summed up my time in Mabinogi in fan-fic form. Happy tales, and drink a lot of rum.

Nass, you are my enemy now and I hope to take you down and everything you stand for.

The marquee thing was irritating. >_> And that wasn’t so much as a fanfic as a blow-by-blow recount. Sorry, this just doesn’t excite me about Mabigoni, whose name I can’t even spell properly on the first try. >_>

I really didn’t like Mabinogi. Not only did the graphics look terrible, it’s too hard to start playing. I DON’T LIKE THAT. Of the 10 minutes I played, 5 were staring at the girl at the beginning.
