Training

OK, so I hopped onto Klen, since I neglected training my alts, and he's level one due to a recent rebirth. OK, I was in Tir Chonaill so I use the nifty Continental Warp feature to go over to Vales or Giant town. I went to Taunes, the blacksmith and a former Giant soldier, and got my weapons repaired at a 95%. I head over to Pars Ruins. It's a frozen ruins filled with ice monsters, including Ice Worms and White Wicked Penguins (lol). I enter the ruins and open the first chest.

What do you know, three chests spawned. Knowing they're Ice Mimics, I load up Windmill and attacked two grouped up Mimics. The spinning hit the both and sent them sprawling open. But due to low ranked Windmill and not enough Strength, they didn't die. Oh well, I'm a mighty Giant Warrior. I killed the remaining enemies and proceeded.

It pretty much continued like that. Until one pillar room. I hit a pillar and three Bandersnatches spawned. A Bandersnatch is typically a frozen zombie that don't have Passive Defense skills as the other zombies. But they move faster and normal attacks deal low damage. 1 damage to be precise. Sometimes more with a critical hit. Anyways, you have to make use of skills to damage these guys. So being a Giant, I loaded up Stomp. I slammed my foot into the ground and dealt a good amount of damage. These guys had around 15 HP so a couple of Stomps finished them off easy.

Once I entered the boss room, I faced with six Bandersnatches. To make things even worst, there was a Giant Bandersnatch too. Go time. I quickly killed off the normal Bandersnatches, leaving only the big guy left. Now this Giant Bandersnatch has a lot more HP than normal Bandersnatches. But normal attacks deal normal damage, so it's go time. After a few traded hits, the creature goes down and Klen is victorious. Great.

It was time to get a better title. I entered Dugald Aisle and head towards the Uladh Forest, which was filled with Bears. Oh goody. I located a Brown Bear, and loaded Smash. Due to the fact that I needed to kill this guy in one blow, I swapped to my Battle Hammer which was good for damage range and critical but bad for balance. I smashed several bears, one was knocked into a Deadly state, but none would be killed in one shot. There was this guy who even tried to KS me with the use of Magnum Shot. But being the Giant and dealing Smash, the monster was always my kill. He tried to do it twice to me. Eventually he left to pursue other things. After several trials, I finally one shot a Brown Bear. Yay.

Though it would've been easier if I went to hunt Snowfield Bears instead. Oh well. ^^;

Today Vestiege was age 20. Time for a rebirth! We clicked the rebirth button and was sent to Soul Stream. After like ten seconds Nao appeared before me, doing her little spin and the camera panning up from Nao's feet to her face. I've seen this thing plenty of times before so I don't need to see it anymore. (A hit to all you perverts out there!) After I spoke to Nao, I was sent to the rebirth screen. I choose to rebirth at the last location and choose to rebirth at age 16, because that's how old she is fictionally. Nao wished me a good life and I went back to Filia, or Elf town.

I dropped the horrible looking newbie wear and the shoes (Premium newbie wear is better. Switch the pants for a skirt makes a big difference.) and put on my normal clothing. Unlike Arly, I don't want to stare at my Elf in her undergarments. After that, I trained at some Armadillos before getting bored and headed to Longa Ruins. I filled my quiver with some arrows and offered a cobweb to the alter. In I go!

Longa Ruins is filled with bugs, floating stones, and pythons. Very fun. She is an Elven Archer, so she can shoot two arrows in one shot. But aiming speed is the sh*t. And when I mean the sh*t, I mean the shit (uncensored for those with the curse filter turned on). Tearing through these easy enemies, I was face to face with the Ruins Guardian, the weak version. The Ruins Guardian may look human, but it moves at the speed of Elves and can shoot two arrows. Not only that, but it can summon a horse to mount on the shoot arrows at you and move even faster at the same time. What a pair. But he is easily defeated with the help of my Shire (You summon your horse, I summon my horse. What now bitch?!) I also kill this horse too for extra EXP, seeing as it disappears with the body. I pick up it's Amethyst Arrows (used to enter a harder dungeon) and take my treasure.

It's just another of those days I suppose.
