I killed the Sword Spirit of A God Yesterday

My latest blog stated that I couldn't continue G9 until Saturday which was yesterday and I completed it. Let's go into the details, shall we?

The Penultimate Battle

The mission begins shortly when we witnessed the Expeditionary Team fighting against the Fomor's valiantly, though outmatched. Our group split up shortly, four assisting the NPCs whereas the other four (including me) go against the Fomor Commander Tethra. A few Smashes and he went down, not without giving us a few hits. After that, the next objective was to breach the cities defense, two went on ahead and everyone else, including me, were confused on where to go.

Then I realized that they went to the south entrance of town. So we quickly rode to them, but they had already penetrated into the city already which caused everyone to teleport into it. We now had to fight a squad of Fomors, consisting of Shadow Wizards (F), Shadow Fighters, Shadow Warriors, Shadow Lancers (Heavy Armored), and Shadow Archers. Shadow Shires may have been there but I didn't take notice.

I focused on killing a Shadow Wizard, as they were the most dangerous next to the Lancers and Warriors. I got doubled aggroed by another Shadow Wizard and then mixed aggroed by a Shadow Warrior. I summoned my horse to fight the Shadow Wizard that I hadn't killed yet while another one of my teammates started to pick a fight with the aggroed Shadow Warrior. After I killed the initial Shadow Wizard I ran to help my allies kill the Shadow Warrior.

I was quickly mixed aggroed again and died. Dang. Someone revived me and I downed several potions to recover myself. We then proceeded to finish off all of the remaining Fomor squad. Casualties in the team weren't too bad, only a few people had died and been revived. We then stormed the Town Square where the Fomors were attempting to summon Claimh Solas, the being who will bring forth the World of Darkness. Obviously we don't want that to happen.

We then killed all the Fomors in the area but unfortunately, Claimh Solas was summoned. A cutscene skip later and a barrier wall completed with a ceiling flew up and covered the town square, trapping all of us in with the boss, except for Kagomexx who was somehow outside for some reason.

Reap the Rewards

Those who were on the last part of this quest are awarded with the Shadow Hero title and Rank C Footwear Alchemist Enchant upon completion of the quest.

This happened yesterday early in the morning so I forgot a lot of the specific details.

Non-related to Gaming but Worth Mentioning in Hopes of Lengthening the Blog

I had a dream last night about a kid around the age of 13 who likes to stay out late at night. His parents don't mind at all. Then there's this group of eight girls who are all sisters and related in blood. The oldest being 10, youngest being 5 and they just love to sneak out of home to see the city, due to their overprotective parents. Their parents never figure it out. This is obviously troublesome due to them constantly getting in trouble and quickly escaping back home. Then these group of young sisters meet up with the boy and they decide that he'll be their ticket to exploring the city, due to him being a responsible guardian even though they fail to realize he's only three years older than his the oldest sister. They constantly call him big brother whenever they meet up.
