I was actually thinking about statutory rape this morn’, thinking about how and why it’s still considered rape. I believe that it’s because until a child is 18, the parents have the right to make all of the child’s decisions. So I’m thinking, is it still considered rape if the parents consent? Not that it would happen, but theoretically.
