Clumsy as she was, Lucifer could not fathom how Kit could possibly have run into another woman tall enough to be seen easily at Kit’s height. Snickering slightly, he walked over as Kit picked herself up and the two females exchanged apologies and sentimental greetings. The tall, pretty one spoke.
