I guess – except I sure as hell know that none of the current mainsteam music are done to express themselves. o.o
What I think she’s saying now is that most of the other pop songs suck, ’cause they aren’t expressing anything. I’ll have to admit, her songs does have a certain meaning, and she said Party in the U.S. wasn’t going to be popular in her mind, which meant that the song that had the least meaning, she disliked.
However, her lyrics are godawful in that can’t be tamed song, seriously, no.
