It’s really true though, and it’s very contagious. When you come to this site (or at least when I did), you get bashed once, you take it. Twice, you take it. Once the third time comes around, you’ve had enough of the community’s shit and before you know it, you’re arguing over little things just because the world has to go your way or the highway.
Many of us are really elitist about everything. We look down upon BasilMarket, we think we’re the beacon of intelligence on the face of the Internet…. It’s a very sad fact that we believe so because we simply are not that intelligent. We are neither scientists nor can control our emotions better than what most of us are, which is 14 – 19 year old teenagers who need to control their tempers and know when to stop. Even if we were intelligent though, that’s not enough. Intelligence is knowledge but what truly defines intelligence on the Internet is not IQ be EQ (or EI).
That’s what I mean by “less QQ more pew pew”. It’ll be a forum where people can say whatever, knowing that it’s all light-hearted and not meant to be fought over.
