That wouldn’t work too well though. You’d essentially have two separate sites.
I think the best way to implement this would be a parallel system. Tweets/Pulses/FMLs would be a special type of blog, with a different set of rules regarding them. They don’t appear on the front page or the Recent Blogs module, but have their own separate ‘Recent Tweets/Pulses/FMLs’ page and module. On user profiles and (possibly in the future) follower feeds, though, they’d be shown together with normal blogs in order of date.
Edit: Even better, allow users to choose what to display on the front page through Preferences. This could be done with the ‘like’ threshold as well.
At any rate, it’s far from a priority.
