    A kid in my grade got two years prison for sleeping with a minor. Well, charges weren’t pressed, but the psycho bitch accused him of stuff after she kept going after him when they had a restraining order.

    In NC, you must be within 3 years of a minor for it not to be statutory rape. I’m pretty sure even feelsies work the same way (in that it’s sexual harassment even if she consented).

    @FunnyFroggy & Nass: I seriously hope you’re joking; it’s not that difficult to ask “Where ya from?” in the course of a conversation.

    @FunnyFroggy: You don’t need someone’s address to figure out about how long it’d take to get to where they live. I know what town and what part of town she lives in. It’s not going to deviate more than 5 minutes.

    Zappy think of it this way…even if its consentual, does it still seem right that a 40 year old man has sex with a 13 year old girl, even if she agreed to it. hence..statutory rape

    I was actually thinking about statutory rape this morn’, thinking about how and why it’s still considered rape. I believe that it’s because until a child is 18, the parents have the right to make all of the child’s decisions. So I’m thinking, is it still considered rape if the parents consent? Not that it would happen, but theoretically.
