Simply because the message is delivered in a way that’s not shocking enough. They should show like people with their lungs in the air, and see what happens when they smoke.
For that alcohol one, it was lulzy. I can’t explain. It just is.
Get unhooked: The audience associates smoking with a unpleasant stimulus of getting ‘hooked’ which gets them conscious about smoking, but only temporarily >_>. Average Superhero: A pretty good commercial with a unexpected twist at the end. Good. Don’t keep it in the family: The introduction was really light-hearted and so was the ending. It was rather difficult to make out the tone of the message XD. The kid looked quite happy smoking that.. I SHOULD TOO! *ahem* Below average. Not worried: Nice how the kid starts from being happy and then into sad, and then telling the audience why. My favorite one of them all. It evokes sympathy for the boy.
