Urgent care the first time, the doctor’s office the second. I was lucky this time they were able to work me in. The doctor’s office is cheaper.

In my experience, sports usually lead to worse injuries than fights. I’ve only gotten scratched and bruised from fights (some bruises being black eyes…), but I’ve killed myself playing sports. I once was knocked out for a minute from a head-on-head collission with another guy, both of us coming from opposite directions at full speed, while chasing down a pass in football. I almost broke my nose and had the most epic nosebleed ever (there’s still a stain on the asphalt five years later) playing basketball. I also lost two, thankfully baby, teeth playing soccer.
I slipped on a piece of cucumber down a flight of stairs and was on crutches for three days.
That’s my mind-scarring injury. I can’t eat salad without proclamations of vengeance any more.
Anyway, impressive scar. How long are the stitches for?
I almost started a fight at a Dir en Grey concert once while I was in the pit…this guy with really greasy ugly dreds was trying to start a moshpit and he slammed into my friend, so I shoved him back, he ripped off my necklace and then I tried to rip his dreds out, I stuck gum in them too but he didn’t notice, and he was yelling at me “do you wanna die!?”, and then I backed the hell out because he was a foot taller then me and all my friends had chickened out of the pit so I was all alone 🙁

Ye Tarheel, sometimes sports are worse than fights, but I have more fights (I go to the bar a lot) than I play sports, so… 😛

Concert crowds are serious business. I went to Warped Tour last year, and it was insane. You can hardly move, and if the crowd starts to sway or move, there’s nothing you can do but follow suit. People are literally jammed up against each other, sweating in 100 degree heat, smelling like dead dogs, and some even smoking (that pissed me off). I’m surprised more fights break don’t break out than already do. Mosh pits piss me off, too, by the way. Don’t get me started on crowd surfers, either.
@Indescane: It’ll take ~3 weeks for the wound to fully heal, but I’m getting the stitches taken off after 9 days to minimize scarring.
@Blackboy: Definitely the other way around for me. I can’t remember the last time I got in a fight that wasn’t over a girl (those are pretty rare, anyways).
Haha, I went to a Metallica concert, and I went into the moshpit with 4 of my friends. We barely survived.
I don’t usually have fights about girls. I’ve been with the same girl for years now, so I don’t have to fight with other guys about her, or another girl 🙂

It’s usually that not type of fight. Generally, it’s, some guy’s trying to make a move on mine, and she’s not liking it, complains to me, etc. If they win her over, all’s fair in love and war, unless they’re a self-centered bad-ass wannabe who only got her by taking advantage of her weaknesses. Then, I get pissed.
Agreed. If any bastard tries anything, he finds my foot lodged firmly up his ass.

My fights are usually just a couple drunk dudes that spill something on eachother 😛
The only time i got stitches was in my mouth. I had a tooth pulled. I dont know why i thought it was badass

I think the most badass thing I did for stitches was fight a guy with a knife. It was my friend and I, and these 2 guys were either high or drunk, or both… Well yah… One pulled a knife on me >.<
