Yeah, I usually get too eager on moves like that and I try shield-grabbing too early all the time. I dunno why, but I never hold out till the end.
But yeah, ggs. The lag spike at the end ruined what I hoped would be a climatic finish. @_@
turtle is tricky to shielgrab if you arent used to it but once you remember to keep your shield up for that last hit you’re good
i gotta master turtle-cancelling i just learned of it like yesterday so i have to practice that because it should aid me dearly
yeah but it’s REALLY useful because it looks like i’m turtling and it will make my opponent get there shield up so i can cancel it into a grab
but it’s more than just the full hop thing, there’s a timing on it i have to get used to because i keep hitting my opponents before it hits the ground which sorta defeats the purpose of canceling it
i can’t believe it’s been in front of my eyes the whole time and i had to hear it from someone else

But I guess that match is about 50-50 to even 60-40 in DKs favor. But G&W can KO even DK at around 100%!
it’s actually about 60-40 in GW’s favor, GW’s disadvantaged matchups are everyone above him except falco, d3, and oddly enough ZSS (but i can understand because i’ve fought good ZSS’s)
but yeah, i need to bring GW to his full potential and that means taking advantage of every technique i possibly can
