The Move’s little lightbulb has to strobe in colours for the PS Eye to pick it up..that’s not going to be a fun trip.

I have all the Trauma Centers for the DS.
Oh my god makes my palms sweat so bad.

Meh. Take MK:Wii for example. All the packaging shows the wheel used to play it, in reality it’s not the best controller, although good for a wheel. Then there’s the wiimotes which are a pain. I prefer the GC controller, but that’s limited by a wire, even though the Wii has bluetooth. And don’t get me started on the “classic” controller. ugh.

For what it’s worth, I know a guy who will lap you without power ups using a Wiimote.

ParticipantPS3 is doing this because Sony won’t be releasing a new console any time soon, and they want to jump onto the Motion bandwagon.
BTW, Sneha, what you described as your body as the controller is Xbox 360’s Project Natal. Of course, I think motion in video games is just silly.

:-/
I’m not any where near the best player, so I’m sure you could find people who could beat me with any controller.
But I prefer the GC controller or at the very least that style of controller over the wiimote.

The video which they showed the “family” of people playing with Project Natal looked silly. Especially the guy who changed the wheels of the F1 racing vehicle.

He’s ridiculous. People with 9999 VC get lapped by him easily. I guess my point is that games like MK only lack depth on the surface. The Wiimote gets more comfortable the more you use it. I think the real issue is that for people like us who have been playing with standard controllers all our lives, the Wiimote is a radical departure.

ParticipantGamecube controllers are probably the best controllers for non-motion play, although I love the Playstation controllers too.
Motion play is up to debate, but so far it’s the Wiimote (since of course, no other motion controller besides the Power Glove has been out). Playstation Move lags a bit apparently, and if Project Natal does not live up to it’s seemingly magical trailer, you may say “Bon voyage” to that idea.14 March 2010 at 15:06 #19154Arladerus
ParticipantThe Wii remote is like a Nintendo 64 controller (middle and right stick) except separated. It was an okay transition for me because it was really similar to the N64 contorller (no thumbstick in right hand).
IMO, Xbox 360 controller is the best; concave thumbsticks are really comfortable, and the flipped D-pad and thumbstick for left hand (PS controllers have D-pad closer to to left side instead of the middle) is extremely useful; I can call a UAV by reaching over with my right thumb while still running around with my left in MW2.
Once again though, it’s all based on style of gameplay;
By the way, for you PS3 owners out there, is there button sensitivity on your controllers? (Like in DOA3, pressing lightly and pressing hard on buttons have different actions for Xbox)
