Pokemon Battle Thread

I wanted to make a thread for hosting battles amongst us in the current Pokemon games, whether it’s on the DS or Battle Revolution. I guess I’ll start making a list? Yes I feel awkward, I’m not too sure if anyone plays Pokemon.

FYI, I’m not too insecure about what games I play that are aimed for kids. Pokemon is fun today and Pokemon will be fun when Black & White comes out. And from what I’ve seen, it’ll be very fun.

Pokemon Battle Animations at all times, important cutscenes have pictures of the NPCs with moving lips, female Professor, older protagonists, bigass region that resembles NYC, a rollercoaster inside what appears to be a Gym, and Triple Battles.

I’m pretty sure I won’t be disappointed since Pokemon just improved. Big time.

My constant nostalgia trip has just been shot down with an rpg. And trip battles are ridiculous, dub battles are stupid enough as is.
And Shoddy is a battle simulator. WPA=a type of wireless network security

Oh, Random Wi-Fi battles have been added and NPCs move out of your way. And NPCs actually do things now, like walk around the city and stand in line.

And there’s an airport. It has become a Meme.

We are currently calling the new male protagonist Black mainly because his hat is red, black and white. The female is called White because her hat is pink and white.

Do you realize how long each individual turn sequence is going to take with the player having to decide for 3 pokemon at a time? And type coverage is going to be a bitch. Random Wi-Fi battles are cool, but the NPCs used to move as well in RBY >l

I mean if you’re moving somewhere and there’s an NPC in front of you, they’ll move out of the way. Good news! Instead at the end of each turn to remind you of the weather, it’ll be in a small box in the corner of the touch screen.
