That’s really impressive… I usually assume that girls pick night elves, blood elves and humans, but beyond that I can’t tell. I can also probably guess what faction they play if I spend enough time talking to them (for some reason kiddy kids like playing alliance thinking it makes them the “good guys”).
I wish I could play a tauren (I had one named Senorsteak but he kept getting stuck when mounted in UC) but I’m stuck in a rut on my blood elf. At least I’ve been told warlocks aren’t too girly…
Yeah. I have an 80 tauren warrior, and I’m about to hit 80 on my DK.
For the mounting problem, yeah, you’ve just gotta get a different mount besides a kodo. Either grind exalted in Org to get a wolf, or wait till you get to 80 to grind Mag’har for a talbuk.

I do a good job of hiding my geekiness in public (I focus on my other, “cool” interests like sports and cars). I never really take my geekiness to the extreme; I’m just really consistent. I carved a Ninja holding a heart out of chocolate for Valentines Day. I stayed up till 4AM the night before midterms finishing the Makoto arc of Kanon (2006). Finally, I camped out 14 hours to get a Wii on launch day.

I stood up in front of hundreds of people, at an anime convention (if that’s not nerdy itself), and song three songs. The very first pokemon song. “I want to be the very best….” and city scape from one of the sonic games “Rolling around at the speed of sound… got places to go got to follow my rainbow.” and I sung the first opening theme to sailor moon >_<
