So yesterday evening Maplestory got the Halloween+ shitload of content patch.
Normally, you’d expect it to be long. Which in this patch was no different.
So I waited off the 6 hours reading some pre patch update notes and whatever.
And the game goes up.The patch to .77 is roughly 200MB. Pretty big, and it’d take me about 20 mins to do. So I like okay whatever.
Halfway into the patching it crashes. So now I’m like “omg fuck u.”
I check around to see what’s up. Turns out they took down Maplestory for like 4 hours due to “Glitches and MINOR bugs”
This so happens to be patch .78.
Another game update….
Luckily this one is small. Maybe 5MB.
But downloading the manual patcher FROM THE SITE DOES NOT WORK.
Why? Because stupid Nexon figured everyone patched to .77. So they only put up .78 as the patcher.
Thus making you have to dig around (If you don’t know where to get them) for .77 files.
I just finished patching, and now I can finally play.
Started: 10pm Thursday evening
Finished: 2:37pm Friday afternoon.
