I usually play on the West but I can play on the East with minor lag.

So what do you guys mean about playing on the east? Are the cardinal directions the servers?

There’s West and East. Because it’s based on a p2p network, meaning that you are connecting to the host directly, a la game host method (like FPS’s) instead of connecting to the general server that everyone connects to.

We should be fine as long as we’re in North America.
