[VuMS] Info/HowTo/Bugs/Etc

Welcome (back) to the world of MapleStory. If you haven’t played it before, we hope you’ll enjoy the stay. By we, that’s probably only me, but whatever. [/captainstyle]

Playing is very simple, if it’s online, click the banner to start playing. Basically Register -> Download -> Login -> Play.

For all you bizarre ones out there who can’t understand (jk):
1) Download v62 MapleStory via the website.
2) Download the VuMS client via the website.
3) Place VuMS.exe in your v62 MapleStory folder, or rename it MapleStory.exe and replace the original MapleStory.exe.
4) Launch VuMS.exe and play, if you renamed, launch MapleStory or whatever.
5) Login, and READ WHAT THE NPCs say! They will guide you through.

The point of VuMS:
Since VuMS is almost a rebirth based server, expect damage and prices to be extremely high. This results in a CASUAL atmosphere, with party quests, group quests, and chatting being the predominant activities. If you like soloing stuff, this is also your place to shine.

Since it’s still pre-alpha, I’m not that sure about how to decide GameMasters. Because most of GM commands have been imported into Player Commands, ie. a powerful buffme, or warp, there really isn’t that much to accomplish there.

I don’t know. I think I’ll make a NPC that makes you a GM, but I’ll never tell anyone who it is. lol.
