    How To Connect

    The VuTales IRC is hosted on Rizon. To connect just point your IRC client at irc.rizon.net and join #vutales. Clients for windows include mIRC and Chatzilla for firefox.

    How to register your nickname.

    Type: /msg NickServ REGISTER password email

    After issuing that command, an email will be dispatched with a confirmation code to your email address from service[at]rizon.net. Copy and paste the codes within 24 hours from your email address you just registered to complete the registration process; otherwise the nick will be available for others to register.

    It has more features (such as being able to impersonate people :)) and is just generally less crappy.

    It works for moderation discussion, because once you attach the server it’s easy to run and join. I’m just using Chatzilla, it’s super quick to download and set-up.

    I use ChatZilla too. Cuz I support FF. Cuz that’s me. 😀
