Hm. I know Southperry has a
pJIRC applet page, for the people who don’t use IRC and are too lazy to set up their client and whatnot. It could be put in place of the current Chat thing, the only disadvantage being perhaps taking a bit longer to load Java and connect to the server and whatnot. I don’t know anything about setting it up though, only using it (which is very simple; go to the page, wait for the applet to load, and you’re in).Vusys, imho, XAT chats are really nice. If you want, we could use this room I made (that can be made in your name if you want ownership since it’s really simple for EVERYONE): http://xat.com/VuTales All people have to do is make an account for that site, and it keeps them logged in every time they go to the simple url.
I think to add people I’d have to make them members myself or appoint a moderator who could make people members.
