I’m saying about how we spell stuff. By different forms of the English speaking population, I was pointing out the most popular ways to spell certain words. If you want to be technical, neither the Caribbeans, nor the Hawaiian Islands are part of the Americas. The part of Antarctica and the North Pole that are in the Western Hemisphere are also not part of the Americas. Finally, Greenland is not part of the Americas.

Following this piece of info I have deduced that the color is maroon. But then again, I don’t know the difference between maroon and magenta.

Incorrect. You were trying to say that the entire Western Hemisphere was synonymous with the Americas. I was pointing out that it wasn’t. Western Earth isn’t acceptable because it includes Europe, and really any nation with a culture that originates from Renaissance Europe. The only correct name for the Americas is the Americas. I wasn’t bashing myself at all.
