An exploit is something like say you trade in 70 perfect pitches and get 1 chaos scroll, but instead, you change the packet so that it gives you 32,515 scrolls instead.

THAT is an exploit.

THIS is FARMING. A thing that hackers do at ToT. A thing that Meso farmers do. This is the same thing as saying, well, if I spend [x] amount of time to do [x] number of tasks, I get [x] number of mesos.

While an exploit on the other hand, generates something without too much effort on the user’s part. This isn’t even a glitch, Nexon intended to leave the 50% scrolls because 1) it’s already reached critical mass, 2) potential knocks these weapons out of the water.

Besides, it’s deflating the value of all other scrolls. More items, while amount of mesos remains constant = general deflation, which is what MapleStory needs atm.

Btw, this is also one of the reasons MapleStory sucks. 8)

It’s “illegal” to be under the age of 13. Ban.
It’s “illegal” to swear/bypass swear filters. Ban. This includes phrases like screw you, etc.
and also a crapload of other stuff I forgot, but were all ridiculous.

Yeah. of course it doesn’t matter if you get caught or not – because this ain’t an exploit or a hack in any way. It doesn’t violate their ToS in a way that they care.
