ParticipantZaneck felt refreshed, it was a long time since he had something as good as that ale to drink. It was pretty expensive to boot but he still had a little more than half of the money he had gotten left. He had a feeling he was forgetting something and started back towards the tavern. Just as he made it to the entrance of the place, the man he had robbed came back. “You!” he exclaimed as he saw Zaneck. “Give me back my money!”
“What money? I haven’t seen any money around here,” Zaneck acted all innocent. “Perhaps you dropped it while leaving this place.”
The man gritted his teeth, “Why, you!” He ran towards Zaneck with his fists. Zaneck felt around for his hidden dagger but was unable to find it. “Tch,” he punched his fist into the man’s stomach. “Be a good boy and sleep.” He opened the door of the tavern and saw on the floor, his dagger. It seems like no one had noticed it yet, he swiftly picked it up and put it back in place inside his sleeve. Well, he was here once more so he might as well have another drink. He saw the waitress from before rushing out of the tavern as if she was in some hurry, Zaneck believed it to be an odd behavior for someone working as a barmaid and decided to shadow her, careful not to get noticed.

ParticipantAs she turned around, Zaneck felt an aura of disgust and misery around the waitress. He watched her go to make the drinks before seeing the ogling man call out a request. He looked out the window and watched the people pass by while he waited for his drink. In a moment, his order had arrived and he forced a smile. The game was over, she would rather attend to many of the other brutes instead of relaxing in a seat, having a small chat with him. He sighed, was it any surprise that she would be different from all the women that walked into his shop? He chugged his drink in one go and signaled for the waitress, placing exact change for what he ordered and then proceeding to leave.

ParticipantConnie, you should come to the tavern!

ParticipantWhen she took the bribe, Zaneck looked all over the room once. He saw no one staring at him but one person, but then tracing the path of his pupils, he saw that the young man was ogling at the waitress with a dirty look on his face.
“Well now, what is it exactly that I want, Zaneck pondered for a moment before ordering. “I’ll have a pint of your finest ale, if you may. Also, would you care to have that drink with me?” A small grin appeared on his face, the game has begun, and now it was the other man’s move.

ParticipantZaneck entered the small tavern and while he was about to pocket the goods, one of the waitresses stepped up to him. She was quite the beauty and he could see a hint of a forced smile upon her face, “Good day to you sir, what would you like today?” After the greeting, she noted the amount of gold he had in his hands, “And if you do not mind me saying, it is not a very safe idea to be displaying such a large amount of gold in such a small tavern.”
Zaneck smiled at the sight, it wasn’t every day a person would come up to him in order to greet him, “Oh dear me. I must have forgotten to pocket it after I made that huge sale.” He took a bunch of the gold and held it out for the waitress, “Well, there wouldn’t be any problem if no one else knows about it now will there?”

ParticipantZaneck eye twitched as he heard some squealing outside. Slowly, he opened them and saw that a bunch of girls had gathered around in front of his store. Darned useless squabble, he thought as he pulled his hood lower and returned to his short rest but suddenly, the bell on the door rang as someone entered. Zaneck saw that it was one of the customers he had yesterday, one of the richest to boot. He stood up and welcomed him, “Welcome back, sir. How fares the swords?”
“Ah yes, very good. The blade is as sharp as people claim they are,” he commented. “I have returned for a certain problem with one of them however.”
Zaneck’s eyes twitched at ‘problem’, there were rarely any complaints about his merchandise and most of them were because of the customer’s stupidity. “What seems to be the problem, sir?”
“Well, yesterday while we were sparring with them one of them broke. I would like a replacement for it, if you may,” the customer placed the sword with a sheathe on the counter. Zaneck pulled the sword from its sheathe, indeed it was broken and he felt it was lighter than the sword he sold the man, “Sir, I sincerely hope you are not trying to get a free sword out of me. This is completely the wrong sword, its balance is wrong and the blade is rusted on one side. All of my merchandise is newly made before sale,” Zaneck called him out on this with certainty.
“W-Why t-that sir, is such non-sense! T-This is certainly the same s-s-sword t-t-t-that I purchased yesterday,” the man stuttered as he tried to save his argument. “Look! It even has the same hilt and sheathe!”
Zaneck smiled and began playing with him as well and curled his lips into a grin, “Are you sure about that? My memory may be deteriorating, but I still remember everything I have sold for the past five days and believe me, there were many sales. All the swords I sold were in black sheathes, this one is silver.” The man backed off slowly step by step until he was at the door, then making a break for it. Zaneck sighed, these people just didn’t know to play the swindling game, and according to the rules the man had just lost the game. Business was slow, and he was only entertained for several minutes. He sighed and blew out the flame lighting the room. He took the wooden sign that said ‘CLOSED’ and hung it on the door before locking the store. As usual, he had a black tunic on and a small cloak hovering behind him which concealed his bow. He walked for several minutes before stopping in front of a tavern, the Golden Lizard. This wasn’t his regular choice for a tavern but he was feeling lazy today and pulled the door.
Inside was a loud hellhole, the perfect place for his temper tantrum. He tripped into the person in front of him, a wealthy looking man. “My apologies,” Zaneck apologized. “It’s fine, just make sure it doesn’t happen again,” he said as he sauntered off. Zaneck grinned, he had cut the money pouch hanging off the man’s waist as he ‘fell’. He looked in his hands and saw a pile of gold, “I’ll put this to better use.” He let out a small chuckle and walked into the tavern.

ParticipantZaneck sat behind the counter and shut his eyes. For the past few days, his business has been booming up to the point that people formed lines that stretched past dozens of houses, with the fear of fights breaking out between the Cross Society and the current ruler, Boggy Raczynski, at any place. Recently, he had placed up a new sign for his relatively small building compared to the ones adjacent to it but nevertheless, business always came and went. The new sign read, “The Old Weaponage”, which left out the ‘e’ after the ‘Old’. He decided not to pursue the topic any further and went to the back of the store, getting a sack of alcohol that he had recently bought.
Right before he was about to chug it, the bell on the entrance rang. He took a small sip and placed it back before returning to his precious customers. “One moment,” he yelled as he made his way back to the front, taking two sheathes off the shelves. As he arrived in the front, the bell rang once again as the door closed. On the counter was a stack of papers with an eye on it.
His research had came in as he opened the package to reap his spoils, after all he had paid The Eye a hefty sum of money for this information. There were two separate stacks, one on the Cross Society, none of which had useful information and the other was the list of other individuals who also take requests of the same variety as he does. There was one paper on it with a red mark, meaning that it was an incomplete document. Curious, he pulled up the piece of paper. He was only provided with a first and middle name, “Lucifer di ______________”. It only provided a list of usable weapons, of which he looked through and found that there were only a few weapons that this ‘Luciano’ was unable to use. He sighed and placed the package and its contents into a hidden slot under the floor. He sat on a chair behind the counter and closed his eyes.

ParticipantName (First and Last plz): Zaneck Al Vernick
Age: 25
Sex:MaleBio:
Zaneck was born into a argumentative family but he was the only sane one, not arguing whether or not he had filled the basin. On his 13th birthday, his parents began scolding him on his ‘irregular’ activities, which was getting a job, and lectured him for hours and hours on how he should be bringing home dinner at that age. At one point, he flipped them off and ran off. He was able to strike up a deal and worked as a slave for half a year under a false name, while also attending to his regular job. He was so sick and tired of this lifestyle that he just stole their money, ran off to another family and repeated the process. He did this for a year and a half before running off to wherever the roads took him. After traveling for a month, he still had plenty of funds and stumbled upon the kingdom of VuTalia. He began a new life there as a weapons dealer but mostly kept his face hidden from public view, afraid that they might recognize him.He is a skilled marksman and is proficient with close combat weapons. He learned a technique that allowed him to poison the tip of his arrow and whenever his business would be slow, he would take up an assassination mission. Recently, he had heard of several others taking up similar assassination missions and is waiting on a list of names from his source, “The Eye”. Recently, he has been heard of the “Cross Society” and is keeping tabs on them.

He wears a light tunic with long sleeves that, as opposed to having heavy steel plating, allows him more mobility. It is dyed black but in rare occasions he wears one with a white dye. Behind him is a cloak in which he hides his bow and quiver. In the event that he loses his primary weapon, he has several hidden daggers throughout his body which he may used as a close combat weapon or may be thrown.Weapon of Choice: He has a bow and a quiver for whenever the need arrives around his back but in the event that he loses his bow or the odds become unfavorable, he may pull out hidden daggers.
