Arladerus
ParticipantAs Arladerus trekked through the dirty path, he looked from left to right and examined the buildings, looking for an inn where he could rest his head. He had been walking from a faraway city, and the only thing he looked forward to at that moment was a soft pillow. Or better yet…
The knight shook his head violently. Lustful thoughts is a deadly sin, and it wouldn’t help him right now. All that mattered was the mission. Arladerus glanced behind him, only to find a pretty young lady with a bow and arrow over her shoulder walking in the same direction as him. As soon as he began to think of why the road was empty except for him and her, he came across a tavern. Nothing else mattered to him at that moment; his eyes sparkled with joy. He opened the door, waltzed into the building, slammed the door closed, hearing a thud as he swung it back.
It was empty except for the owner. Arladerus would have questioned this and asked about the rumours of Vu Talia, but he was too exhausted. He needed rest. “How much for a bed?” he inquired the bartender.
“That’ll be 50 Gold,” he said. Both Arladerus and the owner of the tavern knew that this was an outrageous price. “I know what yer thinkin’. What the hell is this ol’ fool doing, chargin’ me 50 Gold fer a bed? Well I ain’t gettin’ any business and I need the money. Either 50 Gold or find somewhere else to stay.” The bald man was right to charge that much, in terms of business. He ran the last remaining tavern in the city. None of them were getting any real business; ever since Raczynski’s reign of terror began, nobody would dare visit the city, nevermind stay for a night. The only thing people cared about was getting out. Arladerus reached for his pouch, took out 50 gold coins and paid the man. However, before climbing up the stairs, Arladerus swung his head one last time to take a good look at the “empty” tavern. He saw the woman from earlier, with an angry facial expression.

Suddenly, Pedobear appears! It sees a girl with a bow and arrows strapped to her back. Pedobear then asked the girl, “ASL?” The girl replied, “23, Female, here.” This was upsetting to Pedobear. However, he had just leveled to 9001 and learned a new technique. He flung his arm from one side to the other, and sand sprayed. However, they somehow slowed down and floated as they moved towards the girl. She didn’t move, as she wasn’t sure if she should be startled or curious. The sand eventually touched her; in a flash, her 23 year old matured body transformed into her 13 year old body. Those were the Sands of Time! “Oh no!” she cried, as all her clothes disappeared off too; the sands of time reverted her ten years, and her clothes were not even grown yet, as they were cotton, ten years prior.
Pedobear then proceeded to take out his disco stick and play with the girl. As a last resort though, the girl referred to a rumour she heard several years ago. By calling out a specific name, that person will come and kidnap you. His name was Candlejack. Of course though, she then said his name and then she disap

ParticipantArladerus stepped to the top of a hill. He could see the figure of a run-down city, with portions engulfed with black smoke. “This is Vu Tailia? It’s a hellhole, to say the least.” He jumped off the edge to a close rock and proceeded towards the ghastly outline of a castle. Slowly, he paced closer and closer to the city. He walked through fields and over hills; what used to be farms were absorbed by the surrounding wildlife, and the tame rows of crops have been left deserted. The scenery reminded Arladerus of the area around Anvil, the city where the Priory of Nine is located. This struck his heart, and reminded him of the stretches of evil, and what must be done to fend it off.
Arriving outside a drawbridge of the walls of Vu Talia, he stopped. What was left of the drawbridge, anyways. One of the chains had broken, the iron that held together the wood was torn off, and the logs that created the bridge were left as splinter pieces, sitting in the moat. “How pleasant… I just arrived at my destination and I am rewarded with wet boots.” He treaded through the muddy water and climbed out on the other side. Stepping through the gate, he examined his surroundings. The smoke that he saw earlier was in fact from a fire. Many of the buildings have crumbled, showing signs that the city was previously extremely prosperous. Arladerus continued forward to the castle of the city.

Name (First and Last plz): Arladerus Septim the Knight
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Bio: Sent by a group called the Priory of Nine from a faraway land. On a mission trying to earn the name of Divine Crusader. He was told that the ruler of Vu Talia held an important relic. He is to destroy this relic, but was not told what it was, nevermind how to get the freaking thing. The Priory of Nine is his life; even his earliest memories are of training to become a Crusader.
Description: (or pic) He wants to become a Crusader and look like this:
But instead, he’s still a Knight and doesn’t have all the Crusader relics and looks like this (minus the face):
He naturally wants to protect others, but recently, he has been exposed to a world of magic and supernatural abilities, and can not fight them with his teachings, which would be finesse and phyisical strength. He can call upon the power of the Nine Divines to heal himself and others, which is strongest at noon. However, even the power of the Nine Divines at noon does not have the ability to ressurect the dead or completely heal someone with mortal injuries.Weapon of Choice: Sword + Shield
Fears: Mages and people who cast magic.
