Na, you can just use it to commute to work everyday or drive around town. There’s also a compressor that takes about 2 hours to fill the whole “tank”. They’re also working on one that can constantly pressurize/depressurize air. :O

And a sitcom is a situation comedy, so the situation is laughable, therefore, it’s not a joke.
I doubt that half the people will know what sitcom stands for if you just ask random people on the street. ^^
