ParticipantVusys said: Deja Vu.Please go ahead if you wish, I certainly don’t mind. More integration would make a partnership look a little better. Not really sure what though. We used to have a forum subsection for VuMS back in the day. But using a bespoke CMS, it would be pretty hard for me to host your forums though. Maybe host announcements here – I could make you some Javascript to place VuTales blogs on 3rd party sites.
Either way, a link would be nice. I would just like to do more to make it a fair exchange.
Awesome, I’ll be adding this image
to the side bar (above the “Facebook” image)
Edit: If you could tell me over the next few days if the site is actually getting new traffic, that would be greatgreenelf

MasterCheeze said: They’re pretty much assholes from what I’ve seen so far. Of the people I’ve met, 1/1 or 100% of them are bigoted moderators who are too cool to descend from their high throne and mingle with the common folk. I go in there asking if I could play with them since I got hacked in the regular version, and then I try talking to MacRS about video games only to get banned!Hm, not sure what happened lol. Mac is usually pretty nice, but we’re all a little on the edge due to a massive DDOS attack earlier. Sorry ’bout that

But I guess you don’t have a good comp, judging by your reaction to TF2, so you should get a PS3…
Or an Xbox if you prefer, seeing as how the majority here (and in America) has an Xbox.
But PS3 is cheap for what it’s worth, so you should get it. It has the best exclusives so far.As for TF2, it’s kinda boring imo. It’s fun when you try to get into it, but even then it starts to get dull.
My suggestion? Play with friends to play TF2, otherwise it’s meh. The most fun you’ll get solo is as Spy, but even then it’s kinda lame because you aren’t helping your team as much.
Don’t get Combutt Legs, it sucks. No srsly, steer clear.
Otherwise I have no clue what to get for you. Maybe get Modern Warfare for the Wii. Sure it has shoddy graphics, BUT the online is actually really fun and enjoyable with the controls, requiring more than just typical MW skill. Or Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, which is GREAT but I don’t have the actual experience.
Otherwise, nothing. Definitely BF3, but alas, it looks like you have a bad computer, so that’s out of the question.Single core, 2 GB of ram.
I think I’ll go back to TF2 after finals

Participantdarkness said: If you have a 360, I’d suggest investing in one of those newfangled games that just came out (and with Black Friday, they may be discounted). I’ve really never heard of a decent free FPS game (was TF2 made free to play recently? I don’t remember, some game became free). Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Halo: CEA all look like viable choices. Being a Halo fanboy, I’d recommend the last one, since the graphics are beautiful (the other two have gritty, urban, wartime environments, which are nice in their own respects), the gameplay is exactly the same as the old Halo: CE (with skulls and terminals, so that may shake things up), and the map pack it comes with is nice, since it contains remakes of Halo and Halo 2 maps as well as a firefight map with AI allies (betrayal!).No 360. I got a Wii few years ago. Now that I look back, I wish I had gotten a 360. I just use my Wii to stream Netflix
Arladerus said: TF2 is free. Fallout New Vegas is a great game to go if you like some RPG with your FPS. L4D2 was like $7 a few weeks ago, and $5 during the summer sale.Yeah, TF2 is looking like my best option at the moment. The only problem I have with it is that it’s such a massive game, and each patch is like, 200~300MB.

idk, I don’t really like FPS’s (too many fanboys)
so I haven’t played it in like 2 years. There were a few hackers, but it was pretty fun once you got the hang of it.It was fun when I played with Spade and Tarheel. I stopped playing because Nexon is Nexon and eventually you had to pay money to enjoy the game properly.
That’s the one thing I hate about Nexon. They make brilliant games (Maplestory, Combat Arms), and they completely ruin gameplay by making NX purchases necessary to enjoy the game.

Participantdarkness said: Well, I’m open to another hundred, so long the shelf life is worth it. Antiquity of a computer doesn’t mean much when it comes to gaming or basic functions; every windows from like 98 or 93 on had the office bundle, and anything at least XP will run games smoothly (processor notwithstanding). I have a netbook, and jesus, it takes 15 minutes to load MS.Netbooks aren’t worth it. And all new computers will come with an Office 2010 bundle, but it will be a 60 day trial.
