Shame on you Jon.

It’s been a long time since I last blogged, and I haven’t really had the urge to do one until recently. I said I’d do one like, a month ago, but I forgot about it.. but now I remembered! Also, I’m a little buzzed, so some stuff might not make sense, but whatever.

School

What can I say? School is school. Slowly dropping in all of my courses, so I should probably stop being a lazy asshole and do something about that. Skyrim and League of Legends has slowly been sucking the life out of me, and my grades have suffered because of that. I’ll talk about those more later I guess.

On a side note, I can’t believe I’m graduating next year.. when I first entered high school, I thought that I’d be in grade 9/10 for a long, long time. Now here I am in Grade 11, and, well.. shit. All I can say is that I thought I’d have had a lot more shit done by now. I’m not saying that I feel super accomplished being in grade 11, I just feel that the amount of time that passes when you’re not paying attention is astonishing.
Side side note: I thought of the pokemon move Astonish when I typed that word. Ahahahaha, that bastard move made me flinch so much.
RIGHT. MOVING ON.

Gaming

I’m still gaming as much as ever, but less of MMORPGs now. I wouldn’t call League of Legends a purebred MMORPG, but I suppose it kind of falls under that category. Right now I have something like 447 wins and 442 loses. That’s 889 games in total in classic mode, coming up to around an average of around 667 hours, or 28 days, and that’s not even counting Dominion games and custom games. I suppose it’s not as much as some other people I know (COUGH QUANG COUGH), but I feel pretty shitty for having a whole month of my time inside of a video game.. but then the feeling subsides and I go and play some more. If you don’t have me added already, my IGN is, “Crimmm”.
Been doing a lot of Skyrim lately too. Fantastic game, and easily one of my favorite RPGs of the last 3 or 4 years. When I first learned the first Thu’um I was just shouting at chickens to death for like, 10 minutes. Highly recommended. The game is so deep and fleshed out it’s unbelievable. Granted, I pirated my copy, but as soon as I get my next pay cheque.. and after I recover from the holiday wallet-chomping-beast, I’ll go out and get myself a legit copy.
Also the occasional sittings of Counter Strike Source and TF2, and I recently got Geometry Wars 2 on my 360, so I’ll be digging into that when I’m bored. If you want my Gamertag, it’s, “lithybaer”. My Steam name is, “sillypan”.

Personal Life

I was just looking back at the blogs that I’ve written in the past and laughing at myself for being stupidly immature. Another one of those things that everyone experiences I guess. There’s a few things going on right now.. there’s this girl I’m interested in, so I sent her a candy-gram with a stuffed bear and Lindor chocolates asking her if she’d like to let me take her out on a date sometime, so we’ll see how that goes. As well, a guy that I’ve known for something like 8 years went to prison recently.. he was always a little loopy in the head. I met him in elementary school when he was in 5th grade, and I was in 3rd. A couple of months ago, his girlfriend broke up with him, and I guess that drove him over the edge. He followed her down to Seattle while she was on vacation and murdered her. He’s being held there while the governments are deciding what to do with him, and I don’t know what’s gonna happen. So yeah, that was a pretty shitty thing that happened.
Not really feeling any of that depression stuff anymore, or the angry stuff. Just.. some people don’t know they’re being stupid, and I’ll leave it at that. Not really all that social anymore. I’ve already given up trying to impress people I couldn’t give less of a shit about.

Music

Now, music is something that has helped me get through all the stuff that’s happened. Recently, I got myself a new acoustic-electric guitar. I saved up for half a year, and then I went out and got this used Taylor c312 guitar for 1400$ total, when it usually retails for around 1600$ before taxes. When I picked it up, it seemed like it was brand new. It’s a beautiful guitar, and I love it. Only complaint is that it’s a small bodied guitar, so it’s not very loud, but that’s what I have an amplifier for. Beautiful, beautiful guitar. Here’s a picture:

I’ve also been getting into more funk and blues guitar playing on my electric, and I’m really starting to get a feel for it. There’s a video of a short clip of me doing some improvisation on my facebook if you’re on my friends list and want to check that out.

Well, I guess that’s all I have to say for now. See you in the next one.

Speaking of Pokemon, found out that Ash is voiced by a woman. Now it suddenly makes sense why Ash doesn’t go through puberty…

Sweet guitar. Looks simple, in a humbling way. Though I’m sure you’ll add some… street cred to it soon enough.

Oh yeah, tons of male cartoon characters are voiced by girls, so puberty won’t affect the character. Like, Tara Strong who plays Twilight Sparkle and Bubbles, also plays Timmy Turner and Ben from Ben 10 I think, and Bart Simpson is played by Nancy Cartright.

Yea, but with characters like Bart, it kind of makes sense, since The Simpsons is not linear for the most part. When you’re running season after season after season of Pokemon, which is to some extent linear, well… it kind of fails expectations.

Pokemon is geared towards children, why would we expect him Ash to grow up with us.

Also, Tara Strong is a voice actress GODDESS

I suck at Skyrim. I killed a chicken, and then spent the next hour on the run. It was terrifying…and my brother waited until the last minute to tell me that I could just turn myself in and serve jail time instead of running around like a dumbass D:

Oh, and Pokemon <3

Why the fuck do so many people make this mistake? I’ve seen like 8 people with this *exact* same story!
WHY WOULD YOU MURDER A HARMLESS CHICKEN?!

Heartless :'(
