Okay, so the deadline was the 24th, but I still feel like I have a chance to win this. I got shit to write about this time since I’m capable of either being on my laptop or going 10 feet to my room to get on my PS3.

MapleStory

Okay, so, uh, I got back on since PvP dropped, and it’s actually been a nice way to level. I wanted to get permanent versions of all the items (ring, shoulder, belt, pendant) to get the easy set bonus, and I’ve actually gained like 5-6 levels on my Marauder so far. I also need to get to like, 88 on my Page to get an Explorer’s Ring, but fuuuuuuck that’s 40 levels of nonstop bullshit I gatta deal with. Overall PvP is nice, but Buccs still need that damn jump patch.

So, uh, yeah. Give me free money/items @FeistyKatz in Windia. It’s hard to support two characters with good items these days, so donate for the cause, etc.

Social/Gaming

Okay, so I actually tried out Google+, and so far I’m liking it more than Facebook. I guess the fact that my only friends on Google+ so far are my best friends and not random people I know fucking up my news feed helps out, but overall I like the features offered. The ability to connect easier using circles is pretty cool, so I can easily stay in touch with my friends I’ll be going to college with and friends that are in school elsewhere. Plus +1’ing shit is awesome.

For video games I need to sell some old ones to get mo’ money for what’s coming up soon. I’m thinking about getting Catherine (p.s. the PS3 version has the best box art), and I wanna be able to get Elder Scrolls 5, Skyward Sword, maybe Dead Island, Dark Souls, SoTC and Ico HD Collection, Ultimate MvC3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and eventually a 3DS. My God damn spending habits for TF2 and MapleStory doesn’t help shit out though, and I plan on buying an ungodly amount of liquor and pot this year, so I’m in a tough financial bind.

For the most part I pretty much play fighting games, so be sure to add Reggie_Fils-Aime on PSN if you ever wanna get yo fuckin’ ass kicked in Street Fighter, MvC3, or MK9. I’m also up for Brawlol if the connection’s good since I just kinda up and quit it, and I don’t really wanna retire permanently for when the next Smash Bros. comes out. EVO 2011

Okay, so EVO World Finals 2011 (the world’s biggest fighting game tournament) just got done, and that totally consumed my weekend. I didn’t bother watching any BlazBlue stuff, and Tekken was kinda boring with all of the Bobs, but I think I’ll get into Tekken Tag Tournament 2. I never really played Tekken 6 much, but TTT2 seems a lot improved, etc.

Mortal Kombat was pretty hype, and there were actually eight different characters used throughout the finals. It’s good to see that basically 2/3 of the cast is viable in this game; it’s just a shame that so much shit is broken in it. I still haven’t downloaded Rain though, so I need to get my motivation back somehow since the game’s still fun to play.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was also pretty exciting (the finals got like 70k viewers), and I’m actually getting back into it to be prepared for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 which’ll drop November 15. Frank West and Phoenix Wright, damn straight.

And lastly, Super Street 4 AE had some damn good finals (got up to over 80k viewers). Poongko the Machine totally wasted Daigo, but even more impressive was Latif repping America and beating Tokido, Daigo, AND Poongko. The grand finals with him and Fuudo were kinda boring, but Latif and Poongko overall made things awesome. You guys probably don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about, but just know that the PS3 was the official console since the 360 pad sucks ass for anyone who doesn’t use a stick.

Conclusion

Uh, don’t know what else to say, etc. I got a few things accomplished (which is rare for me), so I thought I’d write a blog and stuff. We all need to get the VuCast going again (or just have random Skype chats without having to work on an actual podcast) since I’m not gonna be at a shitty school that blocks Skype. Either way I’m always on the fucking computer and I get bored sometimes. I mean, I’ve resorted to hanging on out Basil predominately to kill time.
