I borrowed some money from some people and bought some fresh shit for it.

Anyway, we got there and lost our tickets (I forgot them all in my other pants :D). So we had some people go to the back entrance and let us in.
*sigh* If I knew it was so easy, I wouldn't have paid for my ticket in the first place.
Anyway, the DJ was kinda noob. But he held up once I plugged my iPod in there.
Had to remove some songs before I went.
my friends and I poked fun at the Air Cadet rule: 6(or was it 3) inches away from your partner.
And danced our asses off.
I asked the DJ if he had some Bogdan.
AND HE DID!
I asked him not to play it though. Just to y'know not ruin the dance.
Instead he put on my Britney Spears remixes, which I had no problem with.

HAHA The thing about PedoBear is so funny. i saw that pic of him with the mascots afew months back and I was like “WTF REALLY?” Because those ppl who don’t want the mascots or words about the olympics being used, and i saw Quatchi and the other woodland critters chiliing with PedoBear. and I lol’d at the torch fail too, I watched the interview with the producer of the Opening and he was saying how people were FREAKING THE SHIT OUT when it wasn’t working. And he had 37 seconds to tell people what to do.

I’m somewhat cynical towards the Olympics. Billions of dollars was poured into this and other more important priorities that Vancouver had were largely ignored or met with minimal attention. I see too much advertising, too much corporate spirit that probably would have the Greeks cringing.

I still think its funny all those morons who were all like “2010 RIOT!” got their asses kicked by police on Saturday. they tried to make a point by smashing windows and everyone thought they were idiots. They failed so hard. I wasn’t exactly thrilled when Vancouver was picked in 2003 to host the games, and since they were gonna happen no matter what, even at the dismay of most of us, protesting is pointless, they were going to happen anyway. It’s one thing to protest something before its established its going to happen, but trying to stop it by yelling, screaming, marching in hordes and breaking stuff fails miserably.
They broke windows at the Bay which was selling Olympic merchandise for hundreds of dollars (coats going for 200-700 each), and they even threw a mailbox if i read the news storuy right. Idiots, but hey, why not go full out? Why not just burn the merchandise? Sure everyone would dis-regard your cause for all the vandalism, but that would serve those people right for having the clothes made by less than minimum wage slave labor and then priced to make them rich. That would have been something. Those pussies.
All I hope is that karma strikes down all the people who are getting rich off all the merchandise and advertising around here. As for the Games, woot for the athletes. it’s supposed to be about them, and human peace and all that, but not Vancouver, its about the commodity, marketing, ads, and all the security.
