The Difference Between Me and the World [02]

"Okay we're back. So what happened next?"
"Well after that, I told Brianna how I felt about Marc."
"And how did she take that?"
"Pretty well actually. All she said was that no she has worthy competition. It wasn't until the following Monday I found out what she meant."

I was in a all out flirting war with Brianna. We did everything and anything to get even a second of Marc's attention. Wore the slutty clothing, most expensive make-up. It was clear to me that Marc was into her more than me. So I had to step up my game.

It was in gym class I think when I did it. I sneaked into the boys locker room and took Marc's clothes. Once I had those, I put them in Brianna's locker back in the girls side. Once people started asking questions, I told them that Brianna liked to sniff his clothes sometimes, and I guess she forgot to give them back this time.

Evil? Sure I guess. But Marc was really turned off, so I moved in.

"So Marc was kinda yours now?"
"Yup. But that night Brianna made it personal."

That night I was coming home from the mall after hanging with a few other girlfriends. When I reached my house I literally almost fainted.
Brianna, because I knew it was her off the bat. Had written words in red paint, all over my garage.
Slut, whore, bitch, you know things like that.
You should have seen my parents once they saw it, it was terrible. I spent the whole week washing that stuff off.

"And did you tell anyone?"
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"I wanted to deal with her myself."
"And did you?"
"Well, sorta. But of course I didn't wanna get my hands dirty. So I hired someone."

I hired this guy named Mike. He was the only guy I knew who can pull off a prank without feeling bad about it later.
We sat down and brainstormed some ideas. He suggested he toilet paper'd her house. All I had to do was pay him $5.
I took it, and we said bye.

The following Friday, the deed was done. I received a picture from Mike that night of his work. It was March Break maybe..So I'd have to wait for a real reaction when we get back.

"Was it worth it?"
"Yeah! Mike did a real good job. And her reaction was priceless."
"So what other big events happened between you two?"

I thought I was just about done, I had Marc (though we weren't dating, but it was better than nothing.) I got my revenge. I was set.
This is also the time I started hanging out with new people. Lilly Brown is a girl in my English class. She has a really cute look. All the prerequisites to become "popular." One day while we were at Starbucks, I asked her how come she doesn't just go for it.
"And meet someone like Brianna? No way." She joked. I knew her and I had the same mindset. Which was nice.

After some days of peace, it was time for the school musical. In which me and Brianna were in. There was a part where we we had to dance together in the background. I told her before that we have to put our drama aside just for this show, then we don't have to speak again.

Did she listen? Nope, dropped me on the ground when she was supposed to support me while I leaned back. And all she did was laugh.
That was my last straw. After the play, I fought her. Fist to fist.
I've never been the one to fight like that but this was an exception.

I think I got her in the face a few times, which made me feel good inside. During our battle, I guess I failed to notice the principal coming over, and we were both suspended.

"That's when the slut list came in?"
"Yup. I wrote it myself. I was still mad about our fight, so I made a list of the top 20 sluts in our grade. Of course Brianna made #1. At first I wrote it on a stall wall in the girls bathroom. But then I took it to paper, and showed Lilly. She lost it somewhere and then it was picked up by some boys.
Then the word got out."
"So people were mad at you."
"Yeah, a lot of them too. I think I lost just about every friend I ever had, besides Lilly, during that."
"Did you get caught?"
"Yup, some girls told on me, so I got suspended, again. And on top of that I had to pay for a new stall door or something."
"And how much is that?"
"$150."
"Wow, so now we know. Um, well thank you Valerie, for your time."
"Yeah, no problem."
"Any final words?"
"Yeah, girls. Don't try and be popular, and if you already are, just stop. Being normal is the best. And Brianna, you're a bitch."

The End.
For now I suppose. I'll write a new part when more shit goes down!
