Sleeping.
I'm really good at it. Good at sleeping, and good at staying up past my limit.
Is it a gift? Probably not. Anyone could do it.
Sleeping is a hobby really.
If I'm not playing video games (which are becoming more and more a less important part of my life) or writing (which is losing it's fun/touch)
Then I'm probably sleeping.
My door is always closed. It never opens, even when I leave the room. I always close my door behind me. People in this house respect my door being closed, and always knock.
I don't really come out of my room when I'm at home. But contrary to popular belief, I'm not really spending my life in front the computer screen.
I spend my time in my bed. Sleeping, dreaming.
Days just go out the window when I sleep. Am I missing anything? Maybe sometimes I do. But it gets compensated when I go back to sleep.
A while ago, I was coming out of my room to see if I could find anything to eat. My mom was speaking to her brother on the phone.
It's wrong, but I stopped to listen.
"Yeah the youngest is fine." She had said. "Oldest still isn't going to school. And the middle…he's probably sleeping now."
I smiled, and had half a mind to walk into her view. But that'd ruin everything.
"No, he sleeps as soon as he gets home from school. And on weekends he just doesn't wake up."
That's true I thought, I get home at around 4:20pm and then I grab a bite to eat then go to sleep. Then wake up at around 1am and get my dinner plate.
The reason why I talk about this today was because today I fell asleep in the wrong class. You know, the one the teacher cares about who's here and who's not and stuff. So I was taken to the office.
As I was waiting for the VP to get out a meeting, I slowly closed my eyes. Then, God knows how long later, I was shaken by a school guidance counselor. Next thing I know I'm in her office speaking to her.
First she asked what time I went to bed last night.
After I told her how early I go to sleep, she asks when do I wake up.
When I told her how early that was, she asked me why.
When I didn't answer, she asked me if I have anything else to do other than mess up my sleep schedule.
When I told her I didn't. She pulls out these brochure type things for various activities.
When I declined and gave them back, she gave up and said I could go back to sleep.
After thanking her, I walked over to a quiet place and went back to sleep.
I thought it was weird how they just let me go to sleep. Because I slept for the rest of the afternoon. But she gave me a note for tomorrow, so I can show my teachers.
Maybe she was just being nice….
Report cards tomorrow yay!
And only like a month and a half left of school!
Goodnight
