The Bus Stop

"I'm quitting this weekend."
"Quitting wat?"
"Cigarettes."
"Oh. Why?"
"Because my clothes smell and I'm tired of doing laundry."
"Never heard that excuse before."
"Yeah I know."
*inhale*
"Did you do your English?"
*exhale*
"No."
"Shit."
*inhale*
"Whoa slow down Mike. We still got time."
"Sorry, a bit edgy today."
*exhale*
"Mmm. Why?"
"Dunno."
*tap tap tap*
"What do you have after?"
"Math."
*inhale*
"Fuck. Incoming."
*exhale*
"Mike, there you are, I thought you were gonna hang with us today."
"I will. Just lemme finish here."
"But you said last night that-"
"Oh fuck, still?"
"Yeah."
"Dang. Yo 5 toke marathon?"
"A weed game with a cigarette?"
"Yeah.
"k."
"1,2,3. GO!'
*Inhale x5*
*exhale*
"Wow, that was shit."
"This is why I'm quitting cigarettes."
"hahaha, k let's go inside."
"Wait. Got any cover-up?"
"o ya, here."
*sprays*
"thanks."
*flick away the filter*
"You think we coulda used those filters?"
"Nah, we can use bus transfers."
"k"

At my school there's this place called "The Bus Stop."
It's right in front of the school, just outside it's property. Kids smoke there, teachers who smoke to down the street to the next bus stop.
Actually, just 30 years ago or so, that bus stop was empty. But that was when you could smoke anywhere you wanted. People then used to smoke in the back on the school next to the auto shop. They called it "The Blue Doors."

But the bus stop isn't only used to smoke, it has other uses too. Things go down at the Bus Stop. Drug deals, fights and shit like that.
Undercover police frequently park cars around there, trying to catch drug dealers and buyers in the act. Sometimes they send young looking cops to try and buy weed off of us, a sting operation of sorts. I feel bad for them because they never win, in fact, one of those got beaten up by some 11th graders last year.

The kids who hang around there are okay I guess, I'm cool with most of them to say the least. In fact, they work similar to us. There is maybe 10-15 regulars to the bus stop, people graduating and dropping out left and right, but some of the kids there just didn't have credits to leave, or failed a grade. Anyway, they're a pretty tight group, on cold winter days, they would pass around cigarettes so everyone gets some, and they would all get sick together, get detentions together, skip classes together and so on.

Now you're probably wondering, why am I talking about this right now right?
Well the school issued a closing order on the bus stop this week, because of the noise level, litter they produce, and the police getting tired of watching them all day.
Of course, when word hit the streets they weren't very happy. I hear they're planning some sort of rebellion against the school.

Just thought it was concept was verrrrrry similar to what we had. Something close to us getting taken away, us fighting back and holding on to anger and hate.

Sooner or later, they'll find a new place to smoke, like the students who lost "The Blue Doors" had to, and when that happens all will be calm.

I dunno, maybe Vutales is our bus stop, and we come here to smoke daily.
