Studying

By In Uncategorized

Dude. I fucking hate studying…

Basically I’ve studied for like 75% of my day. It was the hardest thing ever.
Final exam time is really the only I ACTUALLY sit down to study, and every year it reminds me why I don’t study all the other times.

Here’s how my study session went today:
-Puts on music-
“K, I gotta study for at least an hour.”
-Study for maybe 15mins-
“Lol I wonder what is doing right now.”
-texts them-
Then I slowly stopped studying, and went on facebook or whatever.

Then like 2 hours later; “OH SHIT, I HAVE TO STUDY!”

In my defense, learning about magnets isn’t the most interesting thing ever (no offense.)
Neither is learning about mechanical properties and stuff. (again no offense.)

And on top of all that, I still have to study for 2 Math exams.

Whyyyyyy the fuckkkkk do I have 2 math exams?
And I hate how my teacher’s try to ease the pain like “Don’t worry, there’s multiple choice questions”

And shit only works in classes like History lady, if you don’t know anything about Math (I have a history of failing Math every single year) ANY of those answers look right (blame fucking formulas.)

Yeah yeah, bitching about it won’t get my anywhere. In fact, I’m wasting precious study time whining and bitching about this shit.

But I don’t care anymore. I still have 1 day to study. I can still turn things around.

It doesn’t help that I’m cramming everything at the last second. I even promised myself I wouldn’t do that anymore, lol I suck.

Another thing, I’ve been getting this itch to play MapleStory again. Does this mean I’m going crazy?

You can only remember 7-10 different things if they aren’t committed to longterm memory.

I love magnets….

I remember when I studied for about 12-13 hours for a math exam. I got home from my German final, ate lunch, and studied. That’s all I did. When I showered, I recited formulas. When I ate, I was thinking about math. But man, when I got that A on it, it was worth it. And in the end, I think that feeling of happiness that you succeeded is worth the pain. That and knowing you have a break coming up.

Just a tip: If you have a graphing calculator, I recommend you load some programs onto there. I literally have a huge program that contains each and every geometric formula (Surface area, volume, Lateral Area, tangets, vectors, etc), it really helped me out when I was blanking out.

I had to kill myself before Math exams. I was sorta kinda good at math, but only if I worked really hard. Not naturally good at it like the Asian kid in my class. I would start studying a week and a half before, I would do a shyt ton of practice problems the teacher assigned, then go back and do textbook problems, THEN copy formulas i couldn’t remember onto my calculator cuz thats not REALLY cheating Seriously I cannot for the life of me remember every formula for an exam.
Every other exam i usually just write up a review the night before and read it on the commute to school.
