Yooo what’s going on?
Is no one on summer break or something? Figured we’d at least get a few blogs up 🙁
On the other hand, maybe you guys are like me, not really doing much (or anything that’s really blog worthy) and just don’t feel like writing one of those, “writing-for-the-sake-of-writing” blogs (like the one you’re reading right now).
So.
Uh.
Yeah, that’s pretty much it.
I guess I could tell you guys about the most stubborn people I’ve ever dealt with ever since forever.
k well I’m trying to find a sound system to rent out for a free party I’m throwing on the 21st. I got referred to these guys from a friend and of course I’d use him as my way to get a reduced price.
But nooo they’re asking for like $500 just for their basic set-up! Like anyone would pay that much for a FREE party. So I tried haggling and offered them a nice DJ slot for the party, no dice. I tried saying how they gave my friend a super cheap price, why can’t they do it again (my friend’s also throwing the party with me so we’re one in the same). NO DICE!
And now I was gonna go to these other guys, but another promotion group nabbed them and are scheduled to throw another party on the same day as mine. At first I was worried about that, but then I saw that the styles of music will be totally different so it won’t effect how many people show up much.
So yeah, I’m 2 weeks until the night of the party, and I have no speakers,tables, lights or cars to drive all this shit.
Kinda panicking.
