So..

(This is a vent blog. Yah. You can leave.)
First week of school rolls by. I see my teachers for the first time. My first class: Nutrition Science. I was like “alright! I can learn how to be healthier!”
It was okay. I didn’t really have a problem with the teacher. In fact, I was eager to learn in his class. Until I started oversleeping.
You see, I have first and second period free, for the first time ever. Now, instead of starting school at 8, I start at 9:30. It gave me the opportunity to sleep in. Problem is that, I could sleep past the time when my mom went to work. This part, I blame myself for not being able to wake up by myself.
On Friday, I was late. Just by a few minutes. He didn't even start the lesson yet. He told me to stay after class. “Okay, not that big of a problem", I thought. But then he made me late for my next class, Economics (my favorite class, by the way), to bitch at me about being late and my sleeping habits (I told him 12-8). Irony much? He didn’t give me a late pass either.
So far, he’s given one quiz. Got a 95, 5 points off on a technicality he refuses to acknowledge. I was like “I can tolerate a 95. It’s not like the other kids who got crap grades.”
On Tuesday, I was copying notes. I had my binder at an angle on my lap, copying notes. He walks over, asks what I was doing. Sees nothing. Decides to hover over my desk for the rest of the period. I look around. Other kids are writing the same way, yet I’m the only one who he decides to revolve around?
On Wednesday, for a do now, we had to write a paragraph about different vitamins/antioxidants and controversies involving them. I picked beta carotene. Instantly, he puts me on the spot. Picks out every flaw in my paragraph.
Today (Thursday), we were in a different classroom that usual, because our regular classroom is in a lab room, which other classes need to use. We don’t have assigned seats. So, to take attendance, he does a head count. “One person is missing”, he says. Next thing that comes out of his mouth. “Wayne, are you here?” I was sitting right in front of his face.
Two minutes later, he asks me what my name was. You know, ass, if you're going to remember my name negatively, you should freaking remember my face too. Also, when two late kids came in, all he said was “please arrive on time”.
What the f— is his problem? I'm an student who's actually eager to be in the damn class and all he does is hate on me and call me out?

Wow… I hate health class too. I’m not sure why we even need to know that.

Wow, that sounds even worse than my band teacher, who tells bad stories and jokes about students behind their backs and/or to their faces…

I loved my health class. My teacher was a nice cute lil asian lady. She doubled as my P.E. teacher too. Gosh I miss her. She made a card before I graduated. I still have it. Just know that this is just the beginning of a new school year and that it`s not gonna be like that forever. You two might even grow to like each other someday. LOL

Health class is different from Nutrition class. Nutrition is an elective that you have to pick. The guy is a freaking prick. I can’t imagine enjoying the company of someone like him. I’m not alone. I know some people who had him before and they disliked him too.

I don’t have Health or anything like that class.

All I have to have to say is tell him what’s good.

I’ll I have to have to say is tell him what’s good.

I would… but then I’d probably have that on my record. Along with all the other things.
It’s hard enough for me to get into the college of my choice already.

They put detentions on your record?

We don’t have detentions, we have suspensions.
