SubRosa: GTA on Crack AKA Detroit Street Simulator

Hear me out here, I know I haven’t been here in a while.
for several reasons…

But who wants to hear my life story? This indie game I’ve been playing recently has been amazing for the freedom it allows and I’ll do some
$$$ Advertising $$$
… since I find it fun.

A bit of backstory, this was originally created in 7 days as part of some 7 day FPS contest by CrypticSea, hence the bad graphics.
It’s grown since then, and it’s still getting updates slowly, I think it deserves more attention due to its potential though.

Three corporations are in a power struggle.
There’s Monsota, Goldmen Inc (yellow), and OXS International.

There’s three modes to play, I’ll talk about the main mode here though. There’s Transaction, Acquisition (chasing an AI car for its goodies), Three-way deal(trying to get a threeway deal is hard), and Race.

Transaction

Three teams in three different spawns, two teams that try to negotiate and/or stab each other to get the other team’s item while the third team with nothing to lose try to fuck shit up for the other two by tracking them down and interrupting them with a good ol’ fashioned mafia shootout!

The two teams must communicate with each other to meet up at a certain point on the map If you don’t play it safe and try to kill the other team, you could be killed as stragglers in the aftermath, PLUS you lose interest in your stocks the more you rely on slaughtering each other. You can call each other and use voice chat to talk to your teammates and other team.

What happens is a dynamic game in which anything can happens

I suggest to play during the day with more people to get a gist of how the game works. When a game starts, you must buy a gun (which is free) then click on done and enter a car with someone.

Give it a chance by the way, it’s really fun once you know how it works. Maybe we can have a whole server running for this?

Not much.

I’ve been playing some mafia games, competitive Pokemon from time to time, and some PS3 I guess.

Playstation Battle Royale was pretty fun while it lasted. BF3 is cool.
IRL I never have anything interesting going on. I guess the hurricane was there, but it wasn’t that bad at all.
