The Unexciting Woes of Everyday Life

By In Uncategorized

Wow, everyone's life sounds so exciting (for the better or worse) around here; it makes me feel more plain and ordinary than usual (think I stated this already on my other blog). But hey; ordinary people have their problems too, right? It won't be on the magnitude of…say, my parents are getting a divorce *knock on wood* or an earthquake just hit my area, but it's enough to make me want to kill someone sometimes.

I just realized how much school I'm going to miss. Normally, that's a good thing, but when you get into the higher grades, missing large chunks of school isn't that awesome. Apart from the million choir concerts I have, I have recently discovered that the music tour this year is from April 26th to 30th. That's 5 days, and they're all school days too (Monday to Friday). AND, I have to do work experience, which is another full four days absent from school. Finally, I have Provincial Honour Orchestra; we do a three-day intensive rehearsal, so that's another two days away from school (last day is on a day we don't have school). Wow.

I just did my math test today, and it was surprisingly really easy; that's why I'm scared. I've had the math teacher I have now for two years prior, and her tests are ALWAYS hard. You know how you always do crappy on stuff you think you did well while doing it? That's how I feel right now, because I shouldn't be thinking that test was easy. I got a bad feeling about this…

I thought I had more to rant about, but apparently not…O_O

If an earthquake hits the area, then I’M pretty fucked too. Lol

Well, we’re better off than Richmond! At least we’re not below ground level, haha.

Ha, I’d hate to live downtown though. Or Delta.

My school’s so pathetic it doesn’t even have an orchestra.

Wait, it does… Chinese orchestra. @.@

When you think you have more to rant, you usually do. Come back and do an update when you remember! 😛

I went back to check my secondary school. Apparently a GuZheng orchestra club was recently made.
Those stuff are just… Wow.

Woahh. O.o

Tbh I’ve never heard a GuZheng orchestra before..

Good lord, a revolution.

@ Reve: Our school doesn’t either; it’s a provincial thing.

@ Zhlink: That’s true. And a GuZheng orch? O_O

Thanks for voicing my feelings for me. 😛 Hurrah for being average. Like… most of the posts here would be FML-worthy, and we’re just… “MLIA”. xD

I know =O. It’s like, everyone here is “omgomgomg, my parents are batshit insane”, and then my life is like “the plain life where getting a fever is unusual”.

Exactly.

In my Honors English class, I sit right in the middle of a group of girls who have relationship (or lack thereof) problems that are soap-opera-worthy, to put it lightly. And they bring it up at least once every day, so I’m just the invisible pair of ears listening to all this juicy gossip, and it’s like, “Wow… my life is so boring in comparison. XD”

I mean, there was the brief period of time when we thought my mom had cancer, but turns out it wasn’t the case (thankfully) so my life is DRAMA-FREE. Mostly. xP

I would love a drama-free life. :/

Be careful what you wish for, Aaron. A drama-free life is one that is so boring, it makes you WANT something, ANYTHING, to happen, just so you won’t be so bored.

Chameleon 24 September 2009 Reply

That’s kind of true. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that I don’t have to deal with all those kinds of crap, but everything gets tedious after a while. Everybody needs a change of scenery, you know?

Conjure yourself a love story.

Insta life spice, worry-free ^_^

“Worry-free”? HARDLY. *fake pukes*

Taelin 24 September 2009 Reply

Maybe that’s why I spend so much time daydreaming…xD.

Drama is NEVER a good thing. Be glad you have a boring life. You’ll want it back later in life.

Chameleon 24 September 2009 Reply

… Actually, I rescind my earlier statements. Drama-free lives FTW. <3

A fake puke leaves a fake mess. Thus, worry-free 😛
