My Surgery Is DONE! [Updated]

oyahbby i feel leik powurfull wuman

Well, I did it and besides feeling like I've been hit over the head with a baseball bat and wanting to vomit a lot, and having a really sore throat, I feel super.
Oh.. well that's because the drugs haven't worn off yet. I know I'll feel the pain in the morning.

I WILL TELL YOU A TALE

…of how a bunch of people wearing masks like totally saw my ass and poked it and stuff. o.o

First off, me and my boyfriend (his name is Anthony) had to wake up at 4 in the morning to take the buses to the hospital since well… none of us have cars.
We waited until 5:30AM for one of the friggin buses to come. It was late.
Boy, buses sure know how to pick days to be late.

Skip to the part where I have to find the damn place

They had given me a map to the building I was supposed to go when they told me I'd be getting surgery. But me and Anthony were lost in reading it. But he figured it out and we got there. It was dead silent and empty because we were there so early. We took the elevator up to Ambulatory Sugery and I check-in and all I had to do was wait. This is when my nervousness started kicking in.

They called me in

Anthony came in with me. After they showed me which bed was mine, they told me to undress and put in that hospital dress thing that shows your back and stuff. I took off my earrings and my chain and everything else, much to my dismay, put it in one of those plastic bags and lay'd down. The nurse comes in and asks me a bunch of questions about my health and stuff. Then they introduce me to all of the nurses and surgeons and interns who'll be in the operating room with me. They were all very nice people.
Then they put in the IV which I had nothing to worry about because they numbed the skin first before the put the needle in so I didn't feel any pain.
I kept talking because I was nervous, my body was literally trembling to the bone and my voice was all shaky. Anthony smiled at me, a tired smile. I could tell that the only thing on his mind was sleep. He felt a little uncomfortable here too. I can't blame him, he's been in hospitals so many times because of his father's decaying health. I felt a little bad for dragging him with me.

One of the surgeon's explained that because I was doing the surgery while face down, they had to put a tube into my mouth and down my throat, but that I would be asleep. I was a little shocked. A tube?
She then said that I was going to wake up with a sore throat.

After they left to get my surgery room ready, Anthony took my hand, our sleepy eyes staring at each other for a bit. I felt better that he came with me.
A second later, they come in and start to roll me, Anthony gets up and leaves to go wait for me. They roll me in, put these weird patch thingies on my back and put an oxygen mask and tell me to take a few deep breaths.
I think I passed out a few seconds later.

It was a long sleep. A really long one. I had no dream, I had no thoughts. I was simply lying there waiting to awaken.

After the surgery

I woke up, face down. I felt groggy, but I felt nice. But it was probably the drugs. I heaved myself up on my elbows to see what was happening, but I was still so groggy. I dropped back down almost instantly and fell back asleep. When I woke up again, Anthony was at my bed side and he pet me lightly on the head like he always does. I was happy.

The End

They just made me put on my clothes, gave me instructions to take care of it and a prescription for pain medication.
I'd go on, but I feel too sick to.
I just wanted to tell you guys that I'm okay.
'Till next time.

How I'm doing so far

Well, the area feels a little itchy with some pain, but nothing too serious.
I can sit down, but just barely.
The place where they put the IV in hurts a lot now since the numbing wore off.
My throat is really sore and I have dry coughs every now and then.
My nausea is gone for now and so is my headache.

Thanks guys for your support.
I'll be all healed up in about 6 weeks which is roughly a month and a week.
^_^

He has a knack for redeeming himself.
Though I think it puts a lot of stress on him.
