Intro:
Games. Games. Glorious games! No matter how old I get, I’ll never be too old for a good video game. <3
I fell in love with games when I was a wee little girl. Before the majority of you were even born.
(Damn, that makes me sound old as fuck) I played with my parent’s old Atari and I was hooked ever since.
I love all good games and all consoles. They are all wonderful in their own way. If I could, I’d have them all.
Video games are like people for me. They are there when I need them. They make me feel emotions, anger, hatred, love, inspiration. All kinds of things. They are the friends I never had but always wanted. They kept me away from all the taint of the world by letting me get sucked up and into their vast imaginative worlds and in moments I forget all of my problems. Basically, they are the drug that keeps me away from other drugs. The addiction that keeps me away from other addictions.
Anyway, getting the point of me writing this blog…
I recently bought Muramasa: The Demon Bade and Fragile Dreams for the wii. Pretty cheap too. 20 bucks for each at gamestop. So I was pretty excited to get home and play.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Good shit.
My God, this game is beautiful. It may lack a bit in story but the graphics are what make the game. I guess I shouldn’t expect nothing less from the creators of Odin Sphere.
You get to play as either Momohime, a princess possessed by the spirit of a foul swordsman or Kisuke, a young rouge ninja without any memory of his past or the crime he is apparently wanted for.
The gameplay is really smooth and it’s quite easy. I love how each character can interact with one another and talk instead of just reading a bunch of text on the screen, although they still speak in japanese and you’d have to read the text anyway unless you understand them. The bosses are incredible and very fun. I found myself trying out many different blades against a certain foe.
Anyway, I just barely scratched the surface with this one and I’m still yearning for more.
Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins Of the Moon
Fragile Dreams isn’t a very good gameplay wise, but it doesn’t have to be. You go through the story with the main character, Seto, and you feel his despair. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo. Nearly all of humanity has been destroyed save a few survivors scattered throughout the world and you have to find them. It’s a very emotional game and as you play it, you can’t help but feel sympathy for this little kid who’s all alone in the world. You’ll see and hear the stories of so many people of their lives before they died and it impacts you a lot. I found myself wanting to be there for that little boy so that he wouldn’t feel alone anymore.
Dissidia Final Fantasy 012: Duodecim
I LOOOVE this game and the few tweaks they did with the battle system. I’m not, however, privy to the name. Not a fan of it, but meh. I suppose not all games can be perfect in every way.
The best feature however, is the option to convert your replay data into videos and upload them into youtube. I’ve already uploaded a few Dissidia vids myself on youtube. Here’s one:
Lightning is my favorite FF character. She kicks ass, even though she can be a total bitch.
I JUST recently started uploading 012 vids. It’s such a bitch to upload sometimes though so the uploads will be few and far in between. If you’re interested in seeing more, than go to youtube and search for LithiumDragon. That’s my channel name. I have a playlist with all the vids in so you won’t have to worry about searching for each video. There’s not a lot in there but with time, it’ll grow.
That about wraps up this blog. If you guys want to see any matches against certain characters in Dissidia 12, just let me know and I’ll upload the video for your viewing pleasure. I can’t have online matches though, as I have no internet of my own and I’m only writing on this blog because I’m stealing wifi. Rofl.

LOLOL WELL THANK YOU GOOD SIR.
I try hard to entertain and keep things fresh and crisp.
life would be bleak and miserable without video games, but that’s just me seeing how I don’t fit in anywhere else
