I like it better than the current design. I suppose I’m in the minority, but great job!
Edit: Any chance of making it wider? 800px width sites look so tiny on a screen with a 1920px width.
One suggestion I have is to use that awesome striped background you have on the login page. The design is very utilitarian, which i like, but I think the stripes would make it come together very nicely.
Second Edit: Tweak the background to match the colors, though, of course.
The only major difference is the menu. Personally, I like the new one better <:
