And we're back. Welcome to Eyewitness Tales, I'm Chuck YingIie, and today's guest is Lia Greenberg. Today we're recounting Lia's ordeal with the militant force; the Adepta Sororitas, and now folks, we pick up where we left off. Lia, we left off where the coalition forces were gathering with the undead army outside of the Under City, is that right?

Yes, but we still kept our distance from them.

Right. Now before we continue, some dirt just came in on the story. a source told us over the phone during the break that leaders of the humans in Stormwind had made prior arrangements between the Alliance and the Sororitas. The secret meetings were held in Stormwind during Christmas, and their joint objective was to destroy the Forsaken. The human nation kept tabs and reported to the Imperium. King Wrynn III had signed the document, literally handing over his human people to the Imperium as one hell of a peace offering. The AS were planning to destroy the rest of the Alliance along with the Horde and everything else except the Scarlet militants. Groups, missionaries and inquisitors visited Stormwind often and warned of this great coming. Now, back to you, Lia. what were you and the KCP SWAT troops doing when the A.S. arrived?"

Well, we spent a few days in Tirisfal as the Forsaken gathered their troops- undead warriors, mages, warlocks, rogues, death knights, and all those ugly ghouls and abominations. they were all like on a friendship mission and trying to be all friendly with us it was gross. The Banshee queen showed up and ordered them to keep their distance from us when not in battle- it was a 'prevention of hostility' measure as she called it. Finally we all started moving. People boarded ships and sailed to the northern coasts while the rest of us started moving towards the Plaguelands-

Chuck silences her with an impatient wave
Yes, but please go to the part when the Sororitas showed up.

Okay, that was pretty quick. We heard thunder even though it was a clear sunny day out. I was in SWAT 203, and we all looked up and we couldn't believe out eyes, we saw hundreds of Imperium ships flying above us, and soon they turned into thousands. The land shook when they landed around us, and as soon as that was done, the Sororitas- thousands of them came running out . Up ahead they started shooting the Undead forces. The SWAT teams were separate, and a huge ship landed next to us, and they came out, and surrounded us, holding us at gunpoint. Another army- I dunno, the Space Marines or something showed up, lead by their general. Soon as she showed up, the Sororitas left us.
This guy, taller, and bigger, wearing fancier gear than the others came out and stared us down. First thing he said was 'On your knees, humans, and submit to the Emperor!'
Scared shitless we did, and she's like 'Pray that you still remain pure, for these lands taint and corrupt!'

As the Sororitas started shooting up the Horde troops- orcs, Tauren, trolls. They had flame throwers and just set them all on fire. Then the night elves, Draeni, dwarves and gnomes were all shot. The Sororitas' Lightning fighters shot out from their warships and engaged the Sha'tari Sky Guard in battle and soon half the ground forces were shooting at them.

Must've been scary. How did the Space Marines and Adepta Sororitas treat the human troops?

Same thing they were ordered to the ground and to pray. Then the Inquisitors and their crews showed up. They talked, pointed at several people -SWAT troops, and Alliance human forces, and those people were shot, burned, or tied to posts and set on fire. They had these things called purity seals- it's a piece of paper with some kind of scripture written on it, attached to a metal like sticker. And they stuck them on us. I felt like some kind of raw energy was flowing through me, like I was being watched and judged. We all were. The captain put in charge of us and his own men said that they would determine us if we were 'pure' enough. He also said that if we fought hard, it would help when the Inquisitors came for us later.

Now so what happened after that?
The Space Marines, and us, charged into the Under City, shooting anything that moved. We were threatened with death if we didn't shoot, so we did. The undead lashed out- screeching ghouls charged us- the Space Marine guys didn't see it coming and the ghouls were right on them, and the undead inside attacked them with their magic. We were overwhelmed, and then there was this huge explosion behind us, and the Sororitas showed up in bigger numbers than the undead. They shot at them with their flame throwers and bolt shooters. They literally cleaned house, and the confessors and other spirit warriors fired at them with what they called the 'Emperor's Wrath'. The undead were destroyed. The canoness ordered the whole under city to be burnt and bombed. Lead by them, we cleared out before the place blew.

So what about the Banshee queen and her forces?

That's when the Living Saint showed up. She's this huge super pissed off angel, standing 10 feet tall, and glowing brighter than the Sun. She killed the Banshee Queen and fried the undead forces, but then she fired the huge pulse of energy. The SWAT teams tried to run for it. I got hit, and then, there was a huge flash and lot, a lot of pain, and –

That's very interesting, Lia. We're going to have to break again. Folks coming up next, what happened after Lia blacked out on the battlefield at Tirisfal. Remarkable story. Stay tuned!
