Police take out Pirate Bay (Early September)
Film Industry hires hackers to take out piracy sites
4chan DDOS' the MPAA and anti-piracy groups
Ok, the links are the first newspages explaining what is going on: The Internet communities Anonymous and 4chan (people who use the 4chan websites)
are waging a cyber war against anti-piracy advocates for the police crack down on The Pirate Bay (torrent-sharing website), and for the intended crackdown on other file sharing websites by hackers from a company called Ailpex. Aiplex was hacked first and taken out, and now Anon is repeatedly hacking the Motion Picture Association of America, Recording Industry Association of America, and numerous other anti-piracy lobby groups. I posted all the links so people wouldnt think I made this up.

Dawg, it’s just a minor group of users that frequent the board who are doing that shit.
In fact they aint even using 4chan for planning really.
They have their* own irc and shit.

[EDIT]Swear I fixed that
Why the heck would they claim the DDoS attacks on TPB?
I thought TPB went down ages ago.
No. ._.
I was pissed because I wanted to torrent music so I went onto TPB and it was down.

TPB goes down then it’s back up again in a repeated cycle in the war of pirates vs law enforcement

Why would you torrent music?
where else could you get music?
Google ‘ mp3′
Alternatively, search ‘4shared.com’.
Yeah but I download albums…
and the first things that pop up are torrent sites
Google “Album name” “Artist” Megaupload/Rapidshare/Various direct download sites.
It’s really easy.
Called what.cd
-cough-
I’d really love an invite though
It’s really easy.
but I like torrenting because those download sites sometimes have inaccurate names of the songs and I need to correct them manually 🙁
You know, if the anti-piracy movement and political correctness get way out of control (as in they can’t control themselves even if they end piracy), in real life, little kids won’t even be able share their toys or trade lunch food without getting sued D:

That’s sort of a massive jump. The whole idea is that you’re trading property that isn’t yours. Toys would be the child’s and the food would belong to the person whose going to eat it.
The anti-piracy movement isn’t a bad thing. It’s their property and their allowed to protect their financial interest. That’s life. You protect what’s yours.
