Do you behave differently online than you do in real life?
Is there an altogether different personality you have IRL? Do you talk/laugh/sing/dance/breath/spell/write/see/[insert verb of choice] differently? Or are you a well-balanced, single (or simple)-minded person in both dimensions?
Well, I'll get straight to the point then.
Yes, there is a very wide gap between me in Real Life, and me Online. Actually, more differences than similarities.
The way I talk, that's definitely similar. I try to speak proper English everywhere, but with a little bit of slangs here and there.(Grammar Nazi time 8D) The only exception to this is when I'm under pressure or really.
…
Erm. Hardcore for a moment.
..
Of course, I won't use the internet as a 'mask' to cover over my identity. Like how some people claim to be females when you realise that it's a big trap.
IZZA TRAP! TWRAP! Like me!
Strangely, after Grimno thought I was a female, I went around asking other forums about my gender.
About 60% thought I was a female.
No seriously. Does Zhlink sound anything like a female's name?
Back to the topic. Normally, the internet is a 'mask' to cover you, so it can hide your identity when you're singing/dancing/doing whatever on a video. I'll give you an example.
That bass player is a guy.
I don't use the internet to tell others : Hey, I'm a d00d trapped in the body of a hot female! Which I find is an insult to your own identity.
Finally, my personalities. My personalities between Real Life and being Online. That's the biggest gap. I'll give an example. In VuTales/MMOTales, I'm not really as random or as cazy as some other people here. However, in real life, insanity breaks out. People say this eccentricity is something good for me, something that I have alone. Others think I'm really crazy, as shown during the medical check-up. The doctor certified me as partially-insane.
I mean seriously.
I dare to do stuff in real life that I wouldn't online. I could walk up to a stranger and have a conversation with him/her. A kid was pressing buttons in an elevator, and I dragged him in and made him sit through everything.
…
Where's this going off to again?
Ah, right.
To put in simply. On the internet, I'm like Mikuru. Outside, I'm like Haruhi.
That was the best I could phrase it.

EDIT: Oh and, the first day you came on MMOTales and made a blog, I thought you were a female.
Also, during my early years on MMOT, people thought I was a female too (with my constant exclamation marks! and smileys 😀 and general little kidness)
>___>
Edit: Gosh Darn it.
Zhlink really does sound like a female. I thought you were until now. x.X
GOSH DARN IT!
Lol when I first started playing with my PyroTales guildies, I was talking with them and stuff. Then I went, ‘Hey guys, do you reckon I’m a guy or a girl?’
…they all thought I was a guy.
And now this girl thing’s happening to you, Grimno & Dez.
The next time I think someone’s a guy, I’m going to use REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY and it will be a girl. JUST WATCH ME. XD
lol. Mikuru SUCKS.
and i always knew you were a dude 🙂 But you and Zhlon really got my on the twins thing.
Wow I thought the guitar player was a girl xD
