[Arladerus] Blog 2

Here is my second blog, hence the title. Let's start with Mabinogi.

Today, I got to level 21 or 22, I can't remember. In the middle of a dungeon, the durability of one of my weapons hit zero, and therefore, I couldn't use it. My other weapon had a durability of 3, but it lasted me. So I decided to go to Dunbarton or whatever it's called, or the other town below that, because I heard that the rate of success is better there, although it costs more, to repair my equipment. However, on the way, I realized that there were bears in the Dugald Aisle. I ran back up the map, and went to the forest part of the area, where there were bears. I remembered FireLeo telling me about using bombs to kill Bears in a single hit to get the Bear Slayer with One Blow title. So I tried. First time, the bomb didn't critical. Brought the bear to 20%. So I killed it off… Then, I used another bomb, and stood directly on/inside of the bear. I used the bomb. It was dead! I got the title! Hurrah, +30 Strength FTW. Then I logged off.

Backtracking a bit. Before all that happened about the sword, dee joined Mabinogi. (Bunniz) I decided to help her off a little bit, but I was in a Ciar Beginner Dungeon, trying to get the Ciar Basic Scroll. (I failed by the way. It wasn't in the reward treasure chest.) Then after a REALLY long time, I went to finally help dee. (Sorry.) Then when I finally got there, I tried to change channel to 1, but for some reason, my windowed mode kind of died, and went white screen of death. So I had to end process and start up again. I forgot to set my channel 1 and went to Channel 6 again, but this time, it didn't fail when I CC'd. Finally, I got to dee. Suddenly, she randomly used a bomb, and found a coat. Another 3 minutes was wasted trying to figure out how to take off the freaking hood. (E button, btw.) But yeah, finally, I made a party, she joined, and we went into the Alby Dungeon entrance. She dropped the scroll. Then we realized that the party leader needed to drop. Then I changed her to leader. Then she dropped. Oh wait. Oops. That dungeon is 1 person only. I can't help.

Clannad!

The Special episode 2 came out today. (Well, at least the english subs.) It's great. It's a summary. One summary is okay. Unlike Chobits, where there are 3 freaking summaries in the whole season of like 24 episodes. Anyways. So yeah, basically, Tomoya is recapping of the Clannad series to Ushio. But once again, he doesn't seem to remember the Fuuko ghost, and he doesn't seem to realize that he was the———————-CENSORED SPOILERS————————

^You'll understand all that if you watch the best anime evar. Biased, I know.

Now, here's a QoTW part of my blog. But don't count this.

NES was great. It had Mario, which was a fat little plumber game with a bunch of glitches that you can wall jump if you jump at the ____th frame with your foot just ____ pixels into the wall. Those guys who figured that out have no life.

SNES. Mario! In colour. SCREW THAT. I'D MUCH RATHER HAVE…

Sega Genesis. I have this. The games were amazing on this. Just… AMAZING. Sonic was really good. I'd much rather have Sonic than Super Mario Bros. any day. Even the games that we don't really know of, like Lion King and The Punisher WERE JUST AWESOME. Not to mention X-Men. That was SUPER-SEXY-AWESOME! I still can't beat the last level though. SO GODDAMNED HARD.

Nintendo 64. I LOVE this. I have all the good games that came out for it, except probably Mario Kart and Paper Mario. Let's go through all the good games on this.
Goldeneye. GREAT GAME. TRULY EPIC. This game was REALLY fun for me. Also, the 3D engine for this game was really really good. Other games during that time were like things based on Quake and Doom engine. Quake and Doom = 8 different frames for the 8 UNIQUE DIRECTIONS. But Goldeneye actually had the 3D modelling. Also, that was my first FPS. When I was 3 years old. (Ownage.)
LToZ: OoC. The puzzles are just great. The difficulty level is perfect. When you first play, you find being a child and everything so fun. But as soon as you become an adult, what happens is what you think impossible: It becomes twice as fun. Really. It does. But I'm still missing 2 heart pieces!! ARGHH.
LToZ: MM. This game just got even harder. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder. But after playing OoC, getting used to the difficulty is no problem at all. New things that you wished that were in OoC are in this game. Shooting an ice arrow onto water: Ice platform!
Super Mario 64. I got 120 stars. All 120 stars. They don't make games like this anymore. It took me 10 years to get all 120 stars. Once you get all 120, a cannon is opened outisde of the castle, in which you can blast to the roof. Guess what? YOSHI. YOSHI YOSHI. And also a wing cap! What more can you ask for? OH WAIT. THERE'S MORE. THERE'S A GLITCH WHERE THERE'S A SMALL SLIT OF A HOLE ON THE TOP POINT OF THE CASTLE (Only possible to get by triple jumping with wing cap or aiming the cannon really well) THAT SENDS YOU STRAIGHT TO THE BOTTOM, LANDING BEHIND THE FREAKING DOOR. You're in this little dark room that's technically inside of the castle, but you're still in the outside castle map. Once you go through those doors… You end up at the inside castle map, but you're technically OUTSIDE of the castle now! EPICCCC.
Wave Race. So fun. Especially that Twilight Course. (Twilight book sucks, btw.)
Super Smash Brothers. I has this. Brawl is better though.
Jet Force Gemini. This game is quite good.
Bomberman. So fun. I got the special level, but getting golden cards in that level is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard. IT'S CRAZY.
Star Fox 64! SO FUN. After some research, I found out that Star Fox 64 is actually the remake of Star Fox on the SNES. They were gonna release Star Fox 2 on the SNES, but Nintendo 64 came out. THis game is really fun. I can't even explain in words.

Next up: Game Cube. It sucks.

Next up: Nintendo Wii. There are very limited games on this. The only reason they're selling so much is because it is appealing to everybody, including seniors. But because of this, games like Devil May Cry don't want to put their high definition games on this low-graphic capability console, as seniors will not buy games like that, but will buy things like Wii Fit. The only good games exclusive to Nintendo Wii are like Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy and Brawl.

That's enough of Nintendo.

Now I'm too lazy to do Microsoft and Sony in depth, so I'll make it short.

XBox's graphics dominated the market. PS2 had good games like MGS, GTA, DMC and Shinobi. XBox had Halo, Fable, and a bunch of other stuff. So XBox and PS2 were quite tied on this one.

However, XBox 360 is ruling. Truly ruling. MGS stays true to Sony, but GTA and DMC are both on XBox 360. Also take note that DMC4 is exclusive to XBox 360. MICROSOFT TOOK DEVIL MAY CRY. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? THAT'S HOW OWNAGE IT IS. Would you really pay x2 more money for a bit more graphics and processing and a lot less games? No. You'd rather get an XBox 360 and use that money you would have spent on the PS3 to buy GAMES GAMES GAMES. What good is a console without software? This applies to the Nintendo Wii too. It has like no games.

Imma talk about my school life now. Recently, I've realized that I am a lot less busy than other people. I'm in the Gifted class, which is for people who have been tested by the government that they learn faster. However, we have like NOTHING compared to the non-Gifted people. NOTHING. Barely any work. But it really depends on who the teacher is though, I guess. My English teacher is lazy. She doesn't like to teach or mark. XDD But she r fun. My math teacher gives us homework almost every class, but it's not loads. Our science teacher gives us the occasional project and lab report, but not much. Oh, this weekend, we also have to write a paragraph biography on the band "Cheap Trick". They sang Dream Police. =D And Geography. He gives us projects, but a lot of time to do them. He never checks textbook work. I hope I don't Asian fail the Geo test or exam though. But I usually get at least 85% by winging. Meh.
